Every girl I go on a first date with and we score a homer, I lose interest not too long after. 6mo-1year.

Is this a common prophecy in life, or am I just not getting with girls that are pretty enough?

I don't think attraction is the best way to go about a long term relationship. It can help, sure, but eventually that attraction will fade and you will be left dealing with that persons other qualities.

Well if you're thinking about attraction in terms of just looks, then yes, I would agree that that could only go so far in a relationship. If a person is attracted to someone's personality and character however, then a long term relationship could work in that case.

IMO it's really not the best idea to ask a bunch of basically anonymous people on the internet what to do with your dating/romantic life.

 

Honestly, 85% of the time the people jumping to give relationship advice have either A) never been in a serious relationship or B ) been in a number of serious relationships that keep going badly for reason or another.

 

I think I've said that in every thread like this though and it doesn't seem to mean anything so I'll just... be going now...
