What do you mean exactly? Only limitations are that you can't have the hair and stuff from DA2.

Weird, I thought I edited this post already - it was totally a mistake on my part. I'm just too tired to play, it seems - I somehow got stuck in the "general" option of customization, couldn't get back, and assumed that was all the options I had. My bad.
All better now.
