Decided to try and speed up a Champion Highland Ravager solo by using Jar of Bees Grenades, as their damage scales with the damage debuff of To the Death.

The part of Nicholas Cage in tonight's Wicker Man will be performed by the Highland Ravager.

Edit:

Even faster version, refining my skills as a beekeeper. Only three jars used!

You beat your nine minute record, then.  ;)

I think the time to beat is 5 seconds.. thought that is rather hard to do considering that one was done using a Crited TC w. Mighty offense potion

That was purely awesome made me want to spec my new warrior Champion. And people complain about Knight Enchanter.

Nerf beez.  On a serious note, that was great to watch.  I think that's the fastest solo non-rogue nightmare dragon kill that I've seen.  It's nice to see champions getting some love.

5 seconds? 3 seconds was done already.

Do you mean this?: Dragon Age Inquisition Highland Ravager killed in under 5 seconds! (Nightmare)

Seems to be around 4 seconds perhaps. Is there an even faster kill?

More like nerf To the Death haha, the second one actually took a couple tries, but I managed to stay in range the whole time so TtD stacked for two and a half minutes straight, meaning that by the end the damage multiplier was +750%. >.>

It's possible to do that in less than 3 seconds with a Superb Dragon-Slaying Rune and a second Hidden Blades enchantment.

Awesome! Just as I learned how to tackle OOO for Oblivion by fighting its toughest boss, Lord Volmyr, these videos have taught me how to tackle DAI. At Lvl 17, my team lost against Vinsomer. After learning from these videos, my Lvl 19 team beat dragons easily, in under a minute (not counting the time certain dragons fly around), without even using health potions. In fact, I could probably take them on with just my DW Rogue and Cassandra.

I'm afraid my roleplaying skills aren't advanced enough to imagine killing a dragon with bees.

I think Antivan Fire grenades are actually stronger (and maybe more immersion friendly) than Jar of Bees grenades, but the fire wouldn't work on the Highland Ravager.  Would mess up the other two Frost Dragons in Emprise du Lion though.

This means that the dragon was 750% more powerful too.

Does that bother your tank? Not at all. That's kid stuff. It's good to be Champion.

Hey guys after watching this I am unsure whether to make my warrior weapon and shield over 2 handed. Which did you guys find more fun?

Personally I love 2h champion. It compliments the 2h tree instead of replacing it (like templar and reaver). Make sure to spec one of your mages for paralyze as that is the only combo that 2h skills detonate properly. That being said, SnS is alot of fun (and very powerful), I just like the 2h style and champion supports it very well.

Ah thank you for the information haha I was thinking of trying 2h with champion! Is it able to solo nightmares dragons?

Yep, check out this thread for a video. Whirlwind works really well too if you can get underneath the dragon and hit multiple legs.

I personally find SnS To be more responsive, but I think Champion affords enough survivability to facilitate any aggressive playstyle. And as above, I imagine whirlwind on a champion would be pretty pimp, pop Walking Fortress and Whirlwind into a pack unfettered for at least 8 seconds straight.

Im not sure if its possible but if 3rd inventory slot is unlocked he could of had bees/antivan fire prolly even the timedown even further. Also could of took off his focus skill and put on Challenge for the Cutting Words Passive.

BTW great vids enjoyed em both.

All Hail the Champion.

Antivan Fire would work on other dragons but the Highland Ravager is fire resistant.  IIRC Fire dragons only take 1 damage per tick from fire.
