Guess I am the only gamer in the world who truly enjoyed Dragon Age 2. Possibly more than Origins.

I'm with you on that.

Otherwise...

I think DA4 will be out in late 2017, maybe early 2018. I think it'll take place in the North (Tevinter mostly), that way we don't have to deal with all the "who's ruling orlais/who's the devine" stuff.

If we don't get a DA:I dlc that focuses on what the epilogue said about the Wardens, I'm guessing some of it will be related to that. Otherwise, I expect it mostly to revolve around the elven gods.

Origins was good, but the combat got boring rather quickly for me. Story was pretty solid, and characters as well, but I didn't like having a non-voiced protagonist. Plus, my Warden just felt like a paper thin character.

DA2 had better combat and better companions, I believe. While it was certainly questionable in terms of environments and some graphics, I greatly enjoyed DA2.

I'm guessing it's revolving around the Gods / Fen'Harel, stating the probably quite obvious. But in what way will he act, is another thing entirely. I can't say too much about that, but I think there'll be a lot of resolving the situation with the mages and what's their place in the world. After all, there's so much talk about it in Inquisition and I think it's about time it got sorted out.

For the location, I'm thinking of Tevinter, Rivain and / or Antiva. ABOUT TIME, I SAY!

I enjoyed DA2 Act II. And Legacy. That's about it.

If you take Tallis out of the equation, I thought Mota was really good. Duke Prosper was one of my favourite boss battles in the game. But ye, Act 2 was the best part of the game, but I guess it's because the Arishok was easily the best antagonist in the game.

I'll never understand the resentment of Tallis. After the debacle of falling for Aveline, she was just what the doctor ordered for my Hawke, lol. And it was SO nice to have some questing that was just fun instead of yet another pyrrhic victory.

I rather enjoyed Mota myself, and I like Tallis well enough, but I do fully understand the criticisms against her.

As for my personal hopes, I'd rather it doesn't take place wholly in one country. Especially not wholly in the Anderfels. Everything we know about that place makes it sound miserable and populated by the most dour, humorless, uptight people in Thedas.

So if the Anderfels is on the table, I'd like Tevinter to be as well. But personally I'd rather save the Anderfels stuff for DAI DLC and have DA4 be Tevinter/Rivain.

There really isn't any reason why they couldn't both take the setting north and make it a sequel of this game.

Personally I'm hoping that the majority of DAI's dangling plot threads - at least the ones directly tied to the inquisitor - are wrapped up in DLC.

I want a new protagonist each game; Dragon Age isn't the story of any one hero; it's the story of Thedas.

I'd rather the Grey Warden schism/Hero of Ferelden arc get resolved in Kal-Sharok than the Anderfels. We've had an entire game focused on the Andrastian Chantry. Time to give human-centrism a break IMO.

My personal wish is Qunari centric plot with Tevinter/Anderfels/Seheron setting.
