So you are going from all to most, now? Which is it? And that's ignoring the fact you have no evidence to suggest the gender distribution of said people. As for the Black Divine, you mean the same Black Divine who appoints men for no other reason than to stick it to the Chantry in Southern Thedas?

There are videos. Try looking at something on Youtube other than yourself for five minutes and you'll find them.

Like I said, every rule has outliers but the fact remains that outside the Chantry women have very little power.  I checked youtube for videos and I didn't see any women outlifting me.

You haven't paid any attention to the story.  The royal house of Antiva are a bunch of figureheads with no power.  Josephine is a rare example of a female with power outside the Chantry.  Every rule has outliers though.

Exactly. Every rule has outliers. The Female Inquisitor can be one of said outliers.

Thank you for debunking your own argument, Artichoke. ^_^

Hey, guys...should we like, take screen shots of this thread or something?

For posterity? Since it's going to be deleted in the morning?

Would you accept compensation in the form of cyber cookies to do this?

Exactly. Every rule has outliers. The Female Inquisitor can be that outlier for female military leaders.

There has to be a good explanation for that outlier though and the game doesn't explain it.  That is why there should be a female exclusive class called the seductress where a female inquisitor can use her feminine charm and outfits like yoga pants to increase the stats of her male companions as well as weaken the defenses of her enemies and have special dialogue options where she exploits the power of seduction.

There are good explanations:

If a Dwarf, you are a skilled Carta member.

If you are an Elf, you are either a skilled hunter or a First.

If you are a Human, you are either a skilled mage or noble.

If you are a Qunari, you are a skilled mercenary.

And no, no there shouldn't be that class.

You're forgetting that female inquisitor was made inquisitor, initially, because of the mark she was given.

She just happened to be at the right place at the wrong time, plus, later actions proved she is fit for a leader.

All of this shite about "women are emotionally weak, can't be strong (physically and emotionally) blah blah blah" is just trash.

You ever heard of female bodybuilders? Some of them have bigger abs than Arnie, you can't tell me their not strong.

As for emotionally, well, sorry to burst your bubble but not all females are gushing princesses driven by illogical emotion. I certainly don't fall under that category, no matter what emotions I experience I always have it under control and make "rational" decisions. So yeah, that way of thinking doesn't really work.

But there is no need for me to get my breeches in a knot, otherwise I'm just feeding a starving troll. Rather keep the food for myself. ;)

Not true but men do have a weakness for a woman's feminine charm and being able to exploit that strength through the power of seduction is a woman's true strength.

See there you go again talking about how seductive women are. Men clearly can't think about anything long enough to be leaders. Let the women choose the drapes, you can stick to the weight lifting and sexism.

I'd like you to know that the Qunari do not distinguish between gender when assigning roles.

No, they don't. There have been literally thousands of women in our history who have done each of these with the exception of the magic-related ones due to magic not existing on Earth. The fact it doesn't make sense to you doesn't negate the fact it makes sense.

There is no place for threads where women are (or anyone else is) randomly demeaned and insulted.
