It is that hard. Because this requires them to commit to a feature. Even saying "We'll consider it!" can spawn rumours.
So what, rumours?
Rumours can start on nothing just as easily. And rumours go wilder each time there's something unclear about the subject.
More accurate info = less rumours.
I'm fairly certain that if you look around, You can find Plenty of Bioware posts - in fact, I saw a few just the other Day/Week actively posting in the MP section. Then a few more here and there among the other areas.
More often then not, I find them Weeding/Locking volatile threads - I'm certain that they wade through here and read Lots/Most of what's going on, but more often than not, I see them get attacked or berated by people, with the occasional "Thank you for your work" thrown in between hate posts, or posts that don't pertain to the subject of the thread (I.E. Random Johnny in a Smarmy manner - asks BioMod/Member "Why are the tactics dumbed down?" In a thread devoted to say, There being no Brothel in the game.).
Honestly, I'd be afraid to come here for *Anything* If I was them, because for every thread Thanking Bioware, or telling them they've done a good job, I find 5+ more of "This sucks" "You guys *Must* Acknowledge how terrible this game is."
And it makes me sad, really, really sad. To think, I joined just recently to get all excited for DA:I over the past few months, and now I get to listened to the Vocal minority spout Emotional/Subjective problems about their game experience, and call it Objective fact.
Sure, there are things to criticize about the game - And there are threads for doing so in an Honest, Calm, and Respectful manner.
But BSN is going the way of WoW Trade/General Chat. Or it has been for a while, and I'm just finding out what I've stepped into.
Hmmm, where to start. First your right they do post in meaningless threads that most could care less about. But where are they when people are actually having problems? This forum is for feedback/suggestions, yould think they would care about what the opinions of their fans are. I see the lack of any responce here as a slap in the face. It makes sence though as of course they don't want to read about how crappie their game is but if they would have read the feedback/suggestion forum after DA2 and listened to the people who pay them for games they wouldn't have to be scared to come in here and comment to the fans. And you said it yourself, only I think it's the minority of bioware fans that find DAI to be any good. What your calling the minority is the majority, we find this game to be the end of what could have been a great franchise.

I'd venture to guess feedback/suggestions take a back burner to actual bugs. I counted 4-5 replies to the bug for party banter. Whereas, I doubt there will be any response to the "I don't like DAI thread".
Lastly, to the guys new here: BSN has always been the same. There's been news articles about it, actually, and sometimes I think people whine just because they think they can get some sort of media attention. The truth is: alot of the people that come here are the vocal minority that think Bioware should exclusively fix whatever singular problem they have with the game. Been that way since before Origins.
As to the ME3 fiasco, that was far different. I doubt that will be repeated ever again, but the fan outcry stretched far beyond BSN. YouTube, Facebook, twitter AND BSN was chalked full of complaints about that situation. In this situation, as per the usual, it's mostly the forums that contain the "outcry".
Agree, Bioware seems to like to produce something, publish it, and who gives a crap as what others say. Bioware has the big money to make fancy looking stuff, but the substance is lacking!! Flashy looking things, and sell sell sell, but forget replayability!
It would be great to have bioware actually listen to people, or at least show that it is listening!
Well I made a thread over a week ago mentioning how I couldn't change characters so i could fully use potion boxes that come up, (during the assault on Adamant)
and so far, nothing.
They can't reply to every single thread. Get a thread to HOT, with at least a couple of hundred responses and then maybe somebody will drop down to leave a polite non-commital response. That's why I'm trying to gain momentum with my http://forum.bioware...sible-spoilers/thread. They responded to our old gen issues thread with a "We're looking into it" and then left. To be honest, that's been BW policy since ever, customer support is almost the worse I've seen for a large company with AAA titles. Thought Blizzard was bad? Bioware tops it off. Anyway.
