So, I was flirting with Josephine and Cassandra at the same time, did the quest of getting rid of the assasins hunting Josephine, and Leliana asked about my intentions with Josephine. Then I talked to her(Josephine), and I decided to stay just friends and go for a romance with Cassandra,

 

I had given the gift book to Cassandra and done one of her quests, so I finished the one I was missing (unfinished business) and now I think the Ideal Romance one should be available, but it isn't. It doesn't give me any options when I talk with her as well.

 

Did I miss something? Should I have done the gift quest the last one? Have I messed it up by almost starting a romance with Josephine? Does the quest the ideal romance become available at a later part of the game? (I'm about to go to the empress party to save her or something like that)

(Edit) just found out I didn't complete "promise of destruction" (not even available now) may that be the problem?

Flirt with her until she mentions roses and poetry and, you get sent off to buy things for her.
