**** tier choices son. =P
I wasn't asking you.
**** tier choices son. =P
That's because the Dwarves are awesome. Bro Tier even. Worthy of the respect and support of humanity...
Unlike a certain group of extremely sore losers....
Damn Orlesians.
What's this thread about again?
I have no idea, lol.
I don't even care if it leads to a Tevinter/Qunari invasion and south thedas humans lose land, I would love Bioware forever if the Avvar clans united with the free marchers and fereldans and invaded or defended against Orlesians and it lead to their downfall. Orlesians are like the biggest trolls, having all this power but being such ****** all the same with their stupid ass outfits and over done fake accents. **** them, seriously.
Merrill has been mentioned. I think I know what comes next.

People can hate on her and call her an idiot all they want. She is an idiot.
But, she's my idiot.
I wanted to wring her neck with that demon **** though. But, it is what it is. Bitches be cray. Better than Isabella.

Let the collective hate for Orlais unite all of Thedas.

gotta agree merril is the bomb imo. Stupid naive and seriously a templar magnet... but she's my templar magnet and anyone who attacks her is in for some painSame. They get on my goddamn nerves... but I try and help them when possible.
Took me a while to stop murdering them though in DA 2 when they were talking **** about my girl though, lol. But it was better for Merrill to not have her be the reason they all died.
It was really that dumb ass keeper of theirs though.

Yes, then the Chevaliers can lead the charge for freedom (to speak bad french) to every corner of the world.

Yep, and my Hawke was a blood mage anyway, so. ****** up sexually frustrated Templars (cough, Carver! cough) and trolling them with our awesome maleficarum swag. That's that **** I do like.

I thought Merrill was a great character. An proactive, good person who used blood magic responsibly and who demonstrated her intellect time and again - when she discerned that Keran was not possessed, when she identified the natures of the Profane Abomination and Torpor, and we saw her resilience when she never succumbed to abusing her blood magic abilities.
Her culture shock about human society aside, I thought she was a really good character, although I think her plot with the Eluvian would have been more interesting with Briala, the Orlesian Eluvian network, and interacting with Inquisitor Lavellan.

Her involvement also provided us with a hint that Flemeth and Mythal were connected, and continued the Eluvian mystery.
I was actually hoping for Merrill to be involved in some way with the Eluvians in DA:I, but since the Eluvians as a whole didn't get much plot time, I guess it wouldn't have fit.

The only thing the Chevaliers have excelled at of late is killing poor and defenseless Orlesian citizens :>

So many different permutations in the epilogue slides. I wonder how it will be addressed in the next game.
Most will be made irrelevant by the next big bad. No one cares about politics if there's something in your front yard that's going to kill you. There willl be some kind of trouble that takes focus, something that will require sufficient heroics to be interesting.
Responsible blood magic...from Merrill....what game did that guy play...
Lol yea, Merrill's more like the poster girl for mages to look out for.
Big puppy dog eyes? Check
Feel sorry for her immediately when you meet her and likely to drop your guard around her? Check, Check
Maleficar? Check
Stupid Maleficar? Chiggidy chiggidy Check
Like I said, not hating on her character, (well, warder might) but yea... she had some issues.

True. I just wish different permutations would result in branching storylines. Not going to happen, I get the difficulties that come with that, but one can dream.
Unless they are a dwarf.
