Eldar?! Eww. Those not Tau are awful
Eldar, Aldmerri Dominion, Tolkien's Elves, Dalish... I'm beginning to notice a pattern with you Lulu =P

Tolkien's elves don't count, they are demi-gods and as such worthy of liking. Anyone who doesn't like them must be biased towards elves in general.

I actually hate Aldmerri dominion, I like the Bosmer and Khajit, the fact that they are part of the dominion is mere convenience. The Altmer are the core of it.

The Eldar are not some helpless and oppressed race, they once owned the galaxy and they were butchered by chaos, and as you well know the empire has always allied with them against Chaos. No one knows the true threat that the chaos poses as well as Eldar and no one are as good in defeating them. They have even found away to avoid going to warp after death which is the fate of every other living being, be it Tau, humans or Orks. Liking the space marines is very boring and generic, at least the Imperial guard are civilians fighting for their homes, that's more believable. Also this isn't even up for debate, the Eldar have the least numbers in comparison to all other races but their vastly superior technology and techniques not only have kept them alive but allowed them to achieve victory in several wars.

And I'm more pro-Thedas than anything and everyone should have their place in it, the only ones who don't are elves, be it Dalish or city elves,

I also have an admiration for mageocracy. Elves are usually more "magical" than other races. The Nord's foolish bias against magic has cost them a lot. I have respect for Nord mages.

The "nord bias" is actually rather overplayed in modern times. You already know they were very very magical in the past so no need to argue that. But, they keep court mages, Stormcloaks have "battlemaidens" as healers, guards regularly approve of magic using dovahkiins, and it's really just a small percentage of nords downright condemning its usage in the game, and its mainly those shopkeepers. Like three or four.

Remember Anska, the badass lightning wielding mage looking for proof she's related to Ysgrammor? So it's not totally gone, even if it's surely dropped. Nords don't downright hate it like redguards do, they just look at it the way we look at archers. Which is that bullshit notion that they're pusses because they're not in the front lines.

But if you ask me, the elves are foolish to downplay the power of their earthbones. Trinimac is likely the most powerful god in existence because he has multiple ties to several gods you may or may not know about.

There's Trinimac, Malacath, Orkey, Arkay, Tsun, Stuhn, and even Lorkhan himself, who he killed. It's a long theory I won't go into now, and half of it belongs to someone else anyway, but long story short, Trinimac "killed" Lorkhan because he was so warlike and boss, yet his elven kind abandoned him for it.. Though that was thanks to my girl Boethiah who took revenge on him since she's apparently Lorkhan's biggest fangirl, lol.

Perhaps if the Altmer didn't completely disown that side of themselves, they'd have both the magical prowess of Altmer and the physical tenacity of the the orcs. Instead, the butter elves are wannabe aldmer who kept most of the appearances but only some of the quality of true Aldmer. Sad.

I am aware of that but the game kept banging my head with "OHHH you're mage, sissy magic etc etc" and I just roasted them alive. There is no Lyrium in Skyrim

Anyway so I don't have an elf-liking pattern, it usually have to do with arcane than anything. I like Elves in WoW too but I also like Dalaran and the Kirin'tor. Right now Thedas looks at Minrathous and shivers, a city that stood against whole Thedas united, full might of Qunari army and even the maker himself and its still standing like a beacon, taunting all but its loyal citizens, to them its an eternal sanctuary where the mageocracy will be forever protected from lesser beings.

True they did. I hate that so much personally, especially when they barely even show it. Nords need to rediscover themselves though. Ancient Nords were soooo much cooler. Downright intriguing. Now, like the Imperials, their lore is neutered in favor of attracting more people with generic non weird fluff.

Kirkbride's robot from the future, sent into the past by Kyne? Or are we talking about how Pelinal and Shor mantled the other?

Pelinal in general. I was talking about when he roflestomped those khajiit just because he thought they were elves of some kind.

Which technically he wasn't wrong. They were bosmer once.

Anyone who attacks the bosmer are arseholes. They always mind their own business in their vast forest.

The fact that it was always defensive speaks volumes. (except once which happened in war anyway, if you declare war on Bosmer you should really expect the wild hunt)

They picked at the khajiit before too. Well, supposedly. Khajiit could have been lying.

Well the Khajiit and Bosmer are allied now anyhow.

btw what are you expectations about the next TES game's location? I think there have been enough humans lately, the next one will either be Valenwood, Summerset Isles or Black Marsh or Eleswyr.

well "allied" neither are really thrilled with the Thalmor

Elsewyr would be a nice contrast to Skyrim, but I'm inclined to think Summerset

It'll be somewhere the Empire is. It's the only way to justify having every race possible, and it units Tamriel. Learn to deal with humans. We're here to stay. They tried with Morrowind, and even then we were all treated as outsiders and as if we were Imperial first.

I think Summerset's infinitely more likely than the beast races. For one, blachmarsh... wow, that would be incredibly hard to truly do justice for. Next, they're thinking about dollars, and the same reason DA games focus on generic humans is the same reason TES likely wont be making a whole title around a bunch of catmen or lizard tree men. They wouldn't have the balls to try making it work. Not when they make one game every half decade or so.

So my money's on Hammerfell. If we do go to elsweyr, it'll be half populated by some invading human or elf presence. Which is fine with me.

Hammerfell is boring. Plus the Iliac Bay already had a game. The only reason to go there is to rejoin it with the Empire. I say we sail to Alinor and sack that ******. But that's just me.

Hammerfell is not boring. They've got some really sick wildlife and potential for beautiful landscapes. The desert is actually rather varied in appearance.

Cyrodiil was boring.

It's boring as hell. So's the government that leads it. Cyrodiil has "interesting wildlife" and all that jazz too. And it was still ****.

Summerset Isles seems to be the likely choice in my opinion. It has more importance, but don't mind me, just guessing here.
