I got dragon age inquestion for christmas and has installed it on my laptop, however i plan on playing on my desktop computer at my dorm when i get back. However, are dragon age inquestion in single-player being saved online or the computer itself? know it's a stupid question, but i figure it is kinda important  , thanks for the help!

Both, if you have cloud saves enabled through Origin.

Both. But always tell Origin to use Local saves if it gets out of sync. Otherwise you risk loosing progress (check the timestamp to compare online and local)
