Yes, I know about this 'letter' made by Mister Gaider. I know very well about his participation in the progressive current.

 

This is why I have said that I hope for EA to put stop to this. My hopes may never see their fulfillment, but well, hopes have their foolish charm.

 

EA will not put a stop to it. Bioware couldn't do it if EA disagreed with it. EA is on board and good for them frankly. It is not "progressive" nor pushing an "agenda" to acknowledge that there are other people in the world beyond straight white males and that these people deserve to be treated like humans beings. And thats aside from the fact that the people who like/want this content are a signifcant portion of Bioware's fanbase.

My opinion stands. Let's hope BioWare will purge the agendas and focus more on an appriopriate content, like the one suggested by the OP.

As for the "noble suggestion," I didn't see anything particularly noble about it. It's not a terrible idea, although I don't see what her being straight would have to do with anything. But since we've already had a romanceable elf in the series, I'd prefer them to start with a dwarf if they were going to add one.

I'm glad it comes. It is like with darkness and light, it is difficult to appreciate the latter without a former. In a way I accent all the open minded, rational, modern and progressive people. I'm a kind Lord.

I read that too but they said nothing about not adding non-companion romances. I believe they said that adding companion romances was too hard due to banter conversations when out in the world and such (I'm extremely paraphrasing). But I wonder if non-companion romances (a la Cullen and Josephine) would be easier?

As someone else mentioned (don't remember who, sorry), this idea stems from a joke that Gaider made to a group of people who are incapable of taking a joke (ie, his playerbase).

 

I hope they do. Dwarves are the breakaway stars of DA. Neater, all in all, than elves, at any rate. No Varric romance in DAI was a crime.
