The translation could have been better, hope it works better the other way.

Companions don't have to share a bed, just common goals and ideals. That anyone will follow you w/o staying on a common course is a bit odd?

Companions should react to choices you make:

1. maybe stew about things before they are available for a mission (a delay) or
2. simply reject certain missions or 
3. leave in disgust w/option to regain trust via some personal quest - if you feel they were of value.

Varric refused to enter the fade in DA2, so why go now? 

 

I had hoped for more complex behaviors in DA3, considering the data mining on NPC behaviors Bioware was performing, but I guess the schedule could not support the technology.

well considering that Varric was falling into the Abyassal Rift along with the rest of your party he didnt have much choice in the matter. if the inquisitor doesn't you fall to your death....so yea

I'm betting we will get female dwarven LI's but it will be race-gated to dwarves.

dwafs are the most unpopular players race, i doubt that any dwarf li would be race gated only for dwarfs.

I thought that too, until they gated Solas for female elves only. While female elves are a much more popular choice than dwarves of any gender, I do think it indicates that BioWare aren't worried about locking off content based on race choice. About 80% of played humans in DAO, and I expect DAI statistics will be about the same, and yet Solas is still the way he is.

Situation with Solas is far different because he is main story hero with connection to next DA story, 

 

DAI main story about ancient elven legasy and magic and Solas have the same situation as Alister in DAO when cusland can be his princess consort

 

He was a too valuable character as flemeth and corynfeus and as devs said he was not a LI in the first place(so in the moment when they understand that players will not be ok with only human and add races), actually i am not really beilive in this cos his love relationship with elven inquisitor very suited to be in the beginning, he was the one who was with Inquisitor and his mark in the beginning

There's 3 mages, 3 straight characters, and an elf already in the companions. I think they've pretty much covered all the bases. They could go back and rework the game, I suppose, but I suspect most people would prefer that they fix the game's various bugs before retreading existing territory. This post was mostly to test whether or not I can actually post in Dragon Age forums, now. I don't really have any strong feelings about new companions, other than a preference that the writers work from their own inspiration, rather than what individual players want.

since dragon age 2 i wanted too see a female qunari similar too Rasaan with a awesome outfit like her dress showing her more then the qun could have ever show her something like that,we where soppose to have a female qunari in da2 but they cancel everything cause all the backtalk it have so bleh

What better way to get people to play dwarves than to entice them with a dwarf-only LI?  I wouldn't put it past the team to do that.  Truthfully, if there was an enticing dwarf LI, I might actually roll dwarf.  But he'd have to be one handsome dwarf man or a lovely lady with an awesome personality.

They said no new companions.  They didn't say no non-companion LI's (like Cullen & Josephine).  I'm holding out hope for all the Scout Harding fans.

i agree about the mages, because morrigan and merril were both my first romance choices. this time i ended up with josephine, but she is still a bit "meh". As a straight human you really don't have good romance options. 

 

and no, viviene doesn't count, she is just a ****** and i wouldn't romance her either way, hate her feeling superior all the time, they should just make some quest where i could screw her over. Or a series of prank quests with sera to keep messing with her head. 

 

but maybe they just tried to change the formula a bit. morrigan and merril were both power seeking mages (but very different). 

 

about the tal vashot, well, in the end you can get a tal vashot companion with bull

Varric never refused to go in the fade in DA2? he said he was intrigued in my game and i was able to bring him in. No one ever refused my character to go in the fade. Avaline didnt want to go in but i could still bring her if i wanted to.

 

Not sure what DA2 you played.

I see this situation with some Dwarven prince/princes of KalSharok or ruler of some thaig who with his/her forces can be our alliance and companion or i think he/she would be mostly advisor and it would be a option to become his/her wife/husband, so yeah, political and noble stuff like we have in origins

 

It would fit for next game who as we can understand would be in north-Tevinter, Nevarra and Kal-sharok

Many Thedas nations, especally mages hate and considerate as enemies Orlais and Qunari, and they have a real reasons.
