Last night (december 23) i was able to kill groups of enemies without much of an issue. I log in today (december 24) and for some reason every enemy has the ability to take off between 50% and 100% of my health in 1 attack? I just leveled my party to 18 and the enemies are level 18 but i'm only doing minimal damage output and just getting pummeled. The game difficulty says it is the same, but it just seems like the enemies got cranked up over night.

 

Any thoughts on what is going on other than i clearly suck?

Did you recently have a cut scene in which you were naked or wearing a different costume?I recently did one of the romance cut scenes, and then proceeded to go into combat in the open world, and didn't realize for the first five minutes I was trying to fight in my sky hold pajamas.

No, i appear to be fully armored. It may not be the absolute best armor, but i survived well less than 24 hours ago.

Ok i think i figured out whats going on, but not why.

 

My mage, ranged and melee defeses are all -160% lower. I would imagine these should be positive numbers...

Problem solved. Turns out i had a wepon with the berserk stat. that really buggers things up aparently.
