Of all three baddies, I'm trying to identify one (or a mixture of all three) that is the most appropriate
Who did you choose to Rule Orlais?

All three are terrible, but at least he's honest about it.

I chose the queen and regretted it, if I do a second playthrough it'd be Gaspard.

Celene, only because it provided momentary stability. My Inquisitor was dedicated to his mission, even if it meant (potentially) harming the future of Orlais.
That, and, military leaders tend to be iffy over time lol.

All of them together. If they make good leaders together, cool! If they don't make good leaders and destroy orlais in civil war, cooler still!

Since I can get Gaspard to abandon the idea of invading Ferelden, I let him do it. Celene's a terrible person, and Briala's not as important as she thinks.

My first (and only so far) playthrough I let Celene remain empress since I knew she had planned to address the Blight promptly with King Calin if everything hadn't gone to sh.. so, I figured she'd be capable enough to handle sending soldiers to help the Inquisition. The next playthrough I think I'm going to make Gaspard emperor.

I choose the Empress, I had no clue who to trust lol, great thing about 'The Game' after all LOL
I think next I'll try for the union, or choose Gespard

I don't advise it. They all start a shadow war after Coryshite is gone.

oh thats sucks. I picked Celene by herself and the ending made her seem like a coward and weak... I wonder what the best choice is?

Celene and Briala. Celene is the political progressive and Briala ensures that she also helps improving the lives of the elves. I was very pleased with the outcome. Stable Orlais, elves get more rights, alliance with the inquisition. Everyone is happy. Except Gaspard. But he's scum and started the civil war, so he deserved it.
Oh yes, because civil wars just start up for no reason. It's not like Gaspard and others where sooo pleased with Celenes current rulership at all right and Celene was making smart choices during TME right?
Oh wait...

Celene, I had no idea who to pick. The mission made it look like Gaspard was going to try and occupy Ferelden again, and just made him appear villainous in general, so why would I get a woman killed for him? In hindsight I wish I'd pick him, I couldn't have known there'd be a war table mission that would make gaspard's orlais/ferelden feud magically go away

Celene.
My Quizzy doesn't know what the hell happened in Masked Empire.
Can't based judgement on that.
But Gaspard = reforms and social reforms can go either way so as a Quizzy who needs stability...
Celene.
Briala can roflstomp somewhere else.

It does not magically go away, Alistair and Gaspard simply make deals that please both sides, he also allows Michel to return to court and retain his honor.
Best part about Gaspard on the throne is he stays friends with the Inquistion and both still help eachother. I like to picture her and him going wyvern hunting when both are not busy.
