First playthrough I had below 85%, didn't quite understand what I needed it for and it kept falling really low because I was exploring everywhere, and I let Celine live and remain Empress.

Second, I let Celine die, blamed Gaspard and chose Briala. I get it but I'm a bit disappointed by the whole "puppet" thing. I feel like it's asking for trouble, sooner or later Gaspard will turn on Briala.

I think canonwise I will have Celine reunited with Briala. Just have to remember to find that locket.

You need to get an amulet (one of your party members will comment on it when you pick it up) from one of the halla locked rooms,
then talk to Celenes ladies in waiting, who lets you talk to Celene and then talk to Briala about it.

Hmm, must be one of the many doors I can never open. I always have a hard time finding Halla to unlock the doors. I only recently was able to open the room with Celene's blackmail inside (I still have fits of laughter over that). And I'm pretty sure the only reason why is because I have halla set aside from all the doors I couldn't open. BAH! curse you Bioware and the ticking clock of reputation doom and halla of evil!

According to the wiki, there aren't enough halla to open all of the doors, so it's best to save them for doors you think are important.

Sorry, but in-game dialogue from an objective character who knows a few things about orlesian politics (Josephine) and the codex trump your headcanon. Celene was Orlais savior after Florian's rule had brought the empire to the brink of collapse...and the country has never been quite so prosperous as it is now. She is not "weak".

That's nice, I guess. Celene doesn't invade Ferelden either, and her gratitude towards the Inquisition has remained strong in my game as well. And Gaspard not trying to invade Ferelden doesn't change the fact that the only thing he wants to change about Orlais is who rules it (Answer: Him). Beyond that, he has no interest in reforming Orlais.

Considering that even Josie would prefer Gaspard over Briala....

Reconciled Celene with Briala. It seems to be the best overall ending for Orlais and I couldn't think of any good reason to support a reactionary warmonger with a hypocritical sense of honor.

Celene will cut ties with the Inquisition if you have her kill both Briala and Gaspard(thus ensuring no war can ever happen again) she only stays a friend when she is still threaten. Gaspard however remains your close ally and friend with both of them dead. Gaspard does not forget his friends, Celene does when she has nothing threatening her.

It's in the servants quarters guest wing, a mission will pop up calling it the vault, and it requires 3 statues.

Is it possible to have Gaspard become Emperor and allow Briala to live but not control him? Like the both of them working together as equals?

I don't know, my quizy and Gaspard agreed to have her executed and using all the dirt on her to ensure the elves knew who Briala truly was(hence no elven rebellions) Thus the only opposition Gaspard has is Celenes vocal supportive nobles who are quickly dealt with. This ensures the civil war truly ends. If you do this with Celene though(kill both Briala and Gaspard) she will cut ties later because she is longer threaten and simply has no need for you. She has no value in friends unlike Gaspard.

All three working together does not lead to the worst ending for your Inquisitor and the inquisition. It is however bad for Orlais. If anything, the Inquisition could patiently watch until all three have nearly killed each other, maybe have agents exacerbate this, then move the inquisition in  under the auspices of stability ( backed by the new Divine) and take the country for itself (possibly as a client state etc). I doubt Bioware would allow for such a story, but that is what I would do.

I rather have Gaspard who I know I can count on tbh.  Gaspard has flaws certainty, but the one great thing about Gaspard is he will never betray a friend and him and the Inquisition are a fantastic force.

in my first playthrough, i had celene rule alone.  in my second playthrough, i had all three working together, thinking it the better choice, but i soon regretted it.  there's simply to much bad blood between them.

i would never kill celene and i think in my current playthrough, i'll have celene reunite with briala.  i've actually wanted that from the beginning, but i rushed through the quest the first time, so i missed out on that option.

out of the three, gaspard has more honour due to his chevalier code, but i feel that celene truly wanted peace and she tried to make lives easier for the elves for briala's sake.  i'm just still disappointed that their ingame counterparts are just weak shadows of what they were in the masked empire.  none of them felt compelling and if i hadn't read the book, i couldn't have cared less about any of them.  in addition, their voices were just ridiculous and annoying >___>

All three working together is best for the Inquisition, and as you said does not lead to the worst ending for your Inquisitor nor the Inquisition. However it'll lead to the worst ending for Orlais. I don't know why people believing it'll result in the best ending for both Orlais and the Inquisition considering you blackmailing them all into working together (temporary cease-fire), the civil war was never truly resolved. Also speaking of the Inquisition becomes one of the most powerful organizations, strong enough to take an entire nation, having full justification to secure peace and stability, and backed by the new Divine. One of BioWare's original plan is that it's possible for the Inquisitor to become the new Divine, sadly the idea was abandoned.

Lol, I would rather have my Inquisitor be in charge who in part uses my own judgment. I will not take your word that Gaspard, will not betray a friend because others have said that he was not very forthcoming with his support. I have yet to see such an epilogue myself, so until I've seen all of the endings, I shall reserve my judgment. If Orlais is fighting itself, then the quasi-French cannot invade a weakened Ferelden. Therefore, Ferelden most certainly benefits from all three ruling.

This. Celene outstay her welcome to the throne for far too long, it's time that old vixen reign come to an end for the good of Orlais, and kill Briala...leave no loose end.

I didn't know you could choice. Well at the beginning I was able to choice but when I process further because I was just looking around. Once I stumble across event and evidence, I could no longer choice and the empress remain express. So does that mean if I want to choice, I should not look around?
