I see the DA2 armors and many other cool ones on NPCs but I've yet to find any of them as existing armors or schematics for my Inquisitor. The DA2 DLC weapons are all over the game(but not as schematics?) for you to acquire so why not the armors?
And while I'm thinking about this, why are schematics so rare? Helmet schematics that don't suck are like the freakin' Holy Grail.

I think I got the tier 3 Free Army schematics in my first playthrough but I have no idea where I got them. The randomness makes getting schematics feel like a chore, which is a real shame since the armor schematics you can buy from shops are mostly the same or very similar in appearance, over and over. I feel compelled to farm schematics in my current (rogue)playthrough so I'm not stuck with a choice between short mage outfit, long mage outfit, pointy dragon armor, or hoping to get cool unique armor at some point.
I strongly suspect that Bioware will make a armor/weapon dlc soon with all the people discussing this. The Qunari definitely need race specific armors, every other race has them.
Yeah, this bugged me as well....Every mob has better looking armor than me. The best looking armor was the elven mage robes and even that is a single model. I don't want to say that Bioware was lazy because they did some nice armors for the mobs.

This game has a host of cool armor(even Qunari)... in friggin multiplayer.
Yeah, that annoys me. At least let me unlock those armors for SP by playing MP or something.
