Blackwall is in my party and I know his Spec is Champion , I'm a Dwarf Shield Warrior and I'm struggling on which Spec I should pick either become a Champion and have 2 Champions in my party or become a Templar and have Champion/Tempalr in my party.

I'm not that keen on champion. I know a lot of people love it, but I tend to make both me and Cassandra templars. With the buffs and the smite, you can prevent a lot of damage in ways that work in most locations. Smite doesn't work on boss demons, but it knocks the crap out of mages and templars. Now, if only I could remember what the new name for it is, lol

I second the templar/champ combo.  It brings more balance to the group and that is something I favor.  I suppose you could always make a master save before picking and giving one a go and if it isn't working out reload and go in another direction.

Champion is alright, but them templar buffs though...

Since you already have Blackwall as a Champion, I would go with Templar. Spell Purge has a lot of uses, and Templar's passives are great. Wrath of Heaven is also nice for large groups of enemies.

I would go with one of each also. I'd go Templar if you're determined to keep Blackwall in the party, but the AI does a decent job with Cassandra as Templar if you go Champion. So...just pick whatever spec you'd rather play as.

Storywise you might also be leery about taking Lyrium and ending up an addict to the drug. But yeah, Champion if you want to tank and Templar for sheer usefulness and versatility.

Yeah, my inquisitor had to think long and hard about it, but since he was fighting so many templars and mages, he decided it was worth the sacrifice and Cullen's example in surviving kicking it was encouraging.

Templars are pretty good in this game and you also get a good detonator, set up you own cross class combos. A very handy spec.

Templar. Spell Purge, Blessed Blades, Rally and Wrath of Heaven is too good to pass up. Plus as you stated you already have a Champion with Blackwall.
