Filissa, Adan, Therin, Minaeve, and Seggrit all pretty much abandon me after we make the transition to skyhold. I understand why Seggrit got the boot, but not everyone else.

They're still around, just not in their original roles. Threnn had political opinions that made her a liability. I'm not sure about the reasons behind the others.

Adan doesn't really like his job. He's only doing it because there's no one else. It's not surprising that he would ask to do something else. Seggrit got his ass kicked by my inquisitor for being a racist--at least that's how I figure it.

I was sad at first but then the dwarven bartender is amazing. He has so many lines too, lmfao. If you keep clicking on him, that is.

They're too lazy to take into account the NPC's survival, it's a lot less work to have them all replaced regardless of whether they survive or not.

Recording dialogue costs time and money, and they're limited as to how much they can do.

 

We could call it lazy, sure, but it's really just simpler to go with a whole new crew in those positions whether you saved the original group or not. 

 

It's also not illogical. No one says those people were bad at their jobs, but they aren't necessarily the best at those specific jobs that the Inquisition might want. It makes sense to change things up when you get to Skyhold.
