I dont think more hairs would be a good DLC.
I dont think enough people would pay for that, and still all of them would come here to complain about those hairs not being originally in the game.

Your right no one would PAY for it they would expect it to be given to them for free. I'd be inclined to agree that a free hair pack would be a good thing the current hair options are a total joke.
Weapons and armour pack sell quite well. And so purely aestetical things like hair, colours, decorations for MMORPG.
I can't see it not working, if is something that must cost (if it came with a lot of new hairstyles, new projects for crafting something decent to wear in Skyhold, and mirror of transformation like the one we had in DA2, I'm more than fine with payng) I think people will be glad to pay, if the price is right.
My Inquisitor will remain celibate until the female NPCs of Thedas get some wigs and make-up.
Oh, and stop walking around like hunch-backs or gorillas....
As much as I hate ALL of the hair, I wouldn't pay for a DLC out of principal.
If they had released mod tools with DAI hair wouldn't be an issue as people would be converting Sims hairs into DAI just like they did for DAO.
I'm patiently waiting for the day when the hairstyles and models will receive the importance they very much deserve, and I can go along questing with my gorgeous hair streaming in the wind or falling down my armour without it looking ridiculous or buggy. One Day.
Make a hair/armor/weapon dlc and I'll buy it day one

No. The problem would be semi resolved only fo PC players. For one over five game platforms. Mods aren't a solution for all the people who play on console. ![]()
Bioware makes the worse hairstyles I wouldn't pay for bioware made hairs
LOL And I thought I was the only one.....when I was making my mage and went to find my usual long braid hair I give my male mages....and it wasn't there....??? I literally shouted 'what?!' at the screen...... ![]()
The hair for girls in this installment was hilariously bad, something I hadn't really encountered before from this series or ME. When making a male character for my second playthrough, I struggled between a choice of two hairstyles at least, but for my female, I found one decent looking one and that was it. The fact that even girls mostly had short, dude looking hairstyles kinda sucked. ![]()
I'd welcome more hairstyles, more gender specific ones too. But I'm not willing to pay for something that should have been in the game already... so free update please.
I don't see any good reason to make any added hairstyle gender-specific.

So you'r saying that you'r fine to pay something that must be in the game from the very beginning?
DA2 : storage chest and mirror.
ME2, ME3 : choices of casual clothes.
DAO, DA2 : more choices of beards and hair than DAI.
For me, it look like they rip off themselves a lot of thing of their game. EA LOOOOOOOVVVEEESS DLC, not me.

If the alternative is nothing at all, than I prefer pay something. ![]()
of course it would be better and right if these kind of things (beards, clothes and hair) where a free DLC/patch. But if integrated with others things, big number of choices, and well done, I am ok payng.

You are the future of game industry : a guy okay to pay multiple times to have the same thing that he got for one time three years ago to have a full game.
Bad joke apart, I'm more in the retrogaming stuff and I have a lot of RPGs in the older gens that have a LOT more features that most of the fresh new games. I'm becoming seriously angry to see that each game is more empty that the year before. If you want to make every gamers play a game, I suggest to follow Bayonnetta way : at casual difficulty, not every possibility is open so a casual gamer can finish the game without being confronted at perillous gameplay. At hard difficulty, everything is here and is needed to survive the HELL!
Just for exemple, I'm waiting for ME4 and I want a game with more features and possibilities than Star Citizen. Why not? They have a solid background, solid shooting mecanicks, so why not made a good FULL GAME!
As I was playing the game last night I noticed again how there were quite a few women in the game, wearing the shaved head look but with rather fancy-ish clothes. It kind of cemented my own belief hope that the shaved head look in MANY cases at least was the typical skullcap texture that is applied to models UNDER model hair to prevent skull-show-through but not intended to replace the hair. Hair that for whatever reason was not included. I can't decide whether I believe this because I want to truly believe they wouldn't be so short sighted to think that 8+ versions of receeding hairline buzzcuts would somehow be perfectly ok to the omission of any stylish hair at all. lol
If it comes down to a question of mostly shaved hair or hair with clipping issues? I tOTALLY would take the clipping issues. Heck, Solas has a helmet come right through his face that they didn't worry much about (if it was noticed at all mind you...) so am not sure why they would even consider that lack of actual hair was acceptable. Because frankly, it isn't. The fact that everything else was fairly customisable only made the lack of hair more glaring.
Were it me? I'd give the hairs as a patch. The models used to promote the game had different hairs, so would in my mind at least, be a smart customer-friendly decision. Have extra "themed" hairs as part of DLC's sure. That makes sense. Qunari/Orlesian dlc packs etc for use at Skyhold or whatnot, fine. That would be ok too. But if there was a single glaring omission in the game, it would for me be the hair. (Second would be the overuse of recycled animations (at times, some is good!) but I digress). They would do well to give out some basic hairs for free though. Will they? I kind of doubt it, despite my own best wishes.

I don't see why a game has to give you several bald styles, so I think you're onto something. Also look at the Duchess Florianne's hair...it supports your theory. Clipping issues happen in most games and by reading this thread I'm guessing most people aren't too bothered by it.
Give me Pagan's hair and I will die happy xD
Spoiler
This one should be simple to mod and I would suggest replacing it with Krem's haircut.Just a little work in photoshop and giving nice bangs on side should do the trick.I think I'm going to try my hands at making this one.

Know what is problem in here? You never share your bloody mods! We can see it in billions of pictures of ones you created but you never share...mean ![]()
Am I the only one who would pay $10 for some non-buzzcut, cool looking hair? Idc if my hair goes through my armor, personally, but PLS if modders can make long hair, so can you. At least make medium hair or more pretty updos such as Josephine's.
I think a hair pack DLC would make more money than your cash grab of a multiplayer.
.
I'd pay $30 for decent hair styles.
Maybe more (seriously).
I miss my long haired heroine with the ponytail down her back swaying in the wind.

Not selfish dear I used to share my mods on my old deviant account but I hate when someone "steals my mods" and claims them for their own!
I'm sick of spending hours to make some mod to share only so some a$$ steals my mod and claims it as his own. That is a reason why I don't share anymore.Still if I succeed to make "Pagan's hair" I will give you link.
If they did make a hair pack, I hope it would come at the same time as a 'Mirror of Transformation' type thing. That way I could change the hair of characters I've already created.
Tbh I mostly want the hair pack for my Hawkes. Most of them look very different with hairstyles that are a complete switch from their DA2 styles. I miss default femHawke's hair. I was hoping we could actually use it this time around.
Signed.
I was amazed by how many bald haircuts were available for females. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of gender neutrality - but jeez. I think there were like 8 bald, buzzcut or mullet style haircuts.
Same with eyebrows. How many bushy, unkempt unibrows do we need?
I got the idea that they were all made first for the male characters, and then kinda just passed off on the females.

Seriously who needs that much shaved hair!!!??? Just Two are more then enough. While NPC's such as Josie,Leli and Morrigan have perfect hairs.
Seriously I hate these cases in which NPC gets to be special while main hero of story gets to be as any other NPC.This is what I liked most about SR3 and SR4,your hero was unique as well they had also unisex hair but their hair was only for them and none NPC you encounter in game has hair like you which is amazing...but in here your hero is same as any other NPC.I mean hello...hero of story is the one that should be most unique in here and not to look like generic NPC you find in game!
Then eyebrows are also a joke,so many "caveman" eyebrows that I seriously don't know with which one to start...Qunari seem to be the only race to have decent eyebrows in here.
And black hair must be biggest joke in century! Because where is it!? All I see is white, silver, gray and blue hair I didn't see any "black hair" at all.
Does this look like black hair to any of you:
