Hi, I just got the game, very exited, I unwraped the plastic around it, I took out the DVD's I installed the game...
With my luck I thought "Hey, It probably won't work, it'll crash right at the start.
Well, it didn't crash... Right at the start.
--- Spoiler Warning ---
My game works (almost) perfectly, I get to choose Male/Female/Import. I get to see the scene where Normandy is blown into smitherines and I get to enjoy the thrill of seeing the revival of Shepard...
But just after the movie of said revival there comes a loading screen in which you can see heart monitors and other things ticking about. I see this for about 5-6 secounds and then the game crashes. I tried lowering all the graphics (not that it SHOULD be because of that) but it still didn't work. I tried running in "As Admin.." and "Compability for... Vista SP 1-2 and XP SP 1-2-3". But still same error, why does this persist, how do I fix this, what is wrong with my game?
I did try re-installing it, that didn't work either. I got all the newest drivers for... Well everything. The game plays smooth, but for a little thing (other than the crash).
--- Problem nr. 2 ---
All my menus are weird, well all 'ingame' menus. When I start the game and get to choose difficulty I can't see anything because the buttons have 'slided into place' and left traces of themselves all over the place, and seeing that they have an oppacity, I can't see S***.
While running about the Normandy I pressed ESC to bring up the in game menu, and the same problem persist there. I know it's fancy and uses a zooming effect, but this leaves traces all over the place, making all buttons unviewable, exept when Highlighting them over and over making them completly green.
What is this problem, and how do I fix it?
