Would you guys like to have Batarian, Vorcha or hell even a Volus as a squadmate in the next Mass Effect? In my opinion I would love to have a Batarian squad mate they're so badass!

I don't think I could handle the level of annoyance a volus or vorcha would bring. A batarian seems interesting, but not the screaming demon or the walking ammonia pump.

With the rumors about the next game being set in previously unexplored regions of the Mass Effect universe, it is possible that there could be a companion character from an entirely new species.

Or a Raloi squadmate. Althought...well, he'd probably stay in combat for 5 minutes before fleeing and not seeing him ever again

Romanceable by Male Only: Human Male. Human Female.

Not romanceable: Batarian male. New species. Salarian Female. (I'd say Geth, but I'd be dreaming)

One of the nice things about Mass Effect is that squad members can't disappear with your equipment.

Seems pretty reasonable. I don't think a krogan is ever going to happen though, but I have a feeling that a lot of people are hoping for a Quarian female (and probably male too) that is available to both.

It wouldn't work as a squadmate, but I'd love to have a Hanar crew member.  Maybe it could help with exploring aquatic planets.
