Okay yesterday I notice something odd on Shale's character sheet. Namely that the attack numbers are red, and show some odd red text when I hover over it?

I have tried by deactivating sustained skills and those Injury kits ... but I keep seeing those things as shown in the above screenshots?
No one has hat this problem, or thinks they know what it could be?
Never had this trouble. Some googling revealed that NaN means Not a Number. Further googling revealed that NaN usually appeared behind the defense status when the game was saved while a sustained, defense boosting ability was activated.
So far it seems harmless (but ugly). You could try loading saves before this and check if the problem is there, but you should be okay with your current save.
(But take my advise with a bottle of salt, I know nothing of the forbidden magic of technology.)
Well I am currently going through Orzammar and added Oghren to the active group instead of Shale. For as long as I am in Orzammar, after that I will take Shale again. Guess I will have to wait and see if it has been solved in that manner. But if I understand what you found then even if it does not go away, the attack should still be what it was before it turned red?
As for the sustained ... could that be because of Stone heart then? ( Because that one is always on with Shale. )
Won't Shale get to admire the anvil?
I think the attack number stays the same, but still, I've only seen reports on it effecting defense. Stone heart might be the culprit, but I'm not sure, since it's not supposed to effect attack. Maybe if you have Wynne/ some one with an increase attack spell in the party?
Do you have any mods / the toolset installed? Those two can also wreak havok on games.
