Huh. Wow.  Well, at least it's something......

So....Cass is a templar, that mean she's on lyirum too?

She's a Seeker, and after one of her personal quests you'll be able to talk to her about how she got her abilities and why they are different from a Templars. ;)

So if you tell him to start taking lyrium and you're not nice enough about it he breaks up with you, but if you start taking it yourself it's like 'meh, whatever'. Well that makes sense...

I regret there's not an option to light up with Cullen on the battlements. A nice long drag of the lyrium pipe.

It could be like Training Day.

"Smoke this lyrium."

"What? No!"

"SMOKE THIS, TEMPLAR, OR WE HAVE A PROBLEM!"

How how is lyrium taken anyways?

I mean... from what you see with Cullen, after I built the philter.... it looks like something you smoke.....you can see a jar, spoon, bottle, etc in the box, plus when you make the philter

But with Barris, in the templar quest.... it looks like something you ingest....

I made him take lyrium on my second run, only got a different dialogue once and felt like a bad person. Haven't seen any differences and don't see any advantages to him staying on lyrium. If you make him stop taking lyrium he could potentially show templars that they can serve the Chantry on their terms.

Nightmares can be overcome with time

You'll never forget and they will never stop.

You'll deal with it in one form or another for the rest of your life.

Only real difference I can see (aside from if you do it wrong you can ruin your relationship) is you'll have a bit of a different ending with the slides at the end.

Spoiler

You get the ending where they decide by unanimous decision to stay in the inquisition, this is the best ending for the templars

After I allowed him to resume taking it, it showed my Quizzy walking out of the room and Cullen appearing to open the philter and take a drink.

Nightmares can be overcome with time, and while they are worse now they can get better as he comes to terms with the events that caused them. I think its more important he start dealing with them now, especially with such good support other members of the inquisition would give him if he needed it. Especially Cole. Cole is like the creepy little guardian angel of the inquisition xD

He always has it since like... 10 years ago? From DA:O? Well, his past seems to haunt him so much that I don't think another 10 years will erase that. If you romanced him he'll say that all his dreams are nightmares. He got tortured quite bad in DA:O, I don't think that this kind of stuffs can be healed properly. Especially that he's quite introverted & don't like to talk about that subject.

I don't think Lyrium is permanently addictive, otherwise there'd be no point to not going off it.

It CAN kill you but it doesn't HAVE to.

I'm not very sure about this actually.
