I am armchair theorizing about my Rift Mage build after my holiday meal and stumbled about a couple mechanics questions:
1.) Regarding Transmute Magic (Dispel Upgrade): Description states a 50% barrier generation when used within the 10s threshold -> does that mean I cast a barrier with 50% strength (equivalent to the Strength of Spirits passive) or does it reduce cooldown on casting barrier by 50%? If it is the cooldown reduction, does it stack multiplicative with other cooldown reduction modifiers (Winter's stillness, amulets)?
2.) I know that Wrath of Heaven templar ability stuns allies too, if I have Friendly Fire enabled. If I detonate the stun with Spell Purge, does it hit my allies too? I could live with stunning my allies, but the nightmare detonation would really hurt...
3.) And finally, concerning the Rift Mage bug: Is it worth upgrading more spells that just Stonefist with the weakening upgrade?
Consider the following combo: Upgraded Pull of the Abyss - > weakened -> Static Cage -> Immolate (Mana back from weakened) -> Stonefist -> Does that trigger the weakening bug now? If so, what does the weakness bug entail? Does mana regeneration stop or is it just the damage reduction not triggering? Could I even throw in an upgraded Veilstrike in the combo and still keep the mana regeneration going?
