Uh... isn't Sera an Elf? I love Elf's too but I wouldn't touch Sera with a 10 foot pole. That's just me personally.

Sure, aside from Qunari female, Dwarf male & Dwarf female, but, it doesn't matter - it's more important that there's interesting characters than trying to have all the potential race/gender romance combinations.

hey be glad that the elves have one guy who is an elf to romance. Dwarves don't get anyone of their race to romance, scout harding doesn' count.

Just play as a female elf and then romance Solas, you still get your heterosexual elf-on-elf action ![]()

Someone said it earlier. DWARVES GET NO LOVE. Is that really so much to ask for? Elves are already covered.

Scout Harding is adorable and has so much dialog, I flirted with her as a female but have no idea what that is about. giggle

I will just say : some humans romance could've been incarned by other races and that would've been cool.

It's definitely easy to second guess the racial options for various Inquisitors, it would've been a lot nicer without the gates, and if there had been a female Qunari and dwarf LI. Harding was SO close to being an LI, she was nice to talk to and flirt with. If only we at least had something like that with a female Qunari, so far they don't exist unless your Inquisitor is one. Poor Sera is still waiting to see one, along with all the rest of us

I agree there needs to be a female elf that a male elf can romance - if the elf doesn't like humans, and only would ever be with another Dalish, he's SOL. Solas can be that exclusive but a male elf inquisitor can't.

I absolutely disagee. If your character is a racist then ending up alone could very well be a risk. Romance options shouldn't turn on accommodating in-game racism.

Because the male elf would shout,"Elven Glory, ftw!" during the love scenes.
And that's a big no-no.

Well, LI's race and appearance should be the last problem. The most important is character's personality.
That's just my opinion...

I think those at bioware took a great effort in trying to give as much diversity to romance options as they could. We can't really blame them if we don't find exactly what we are looking for, they have already done too much to try to please us.
I'm currently trying to hit on Josephine and I found that I hate her: she is a spoiled noblewoman that can't bear to live in adverse situations. She is also the greatest gossip girl I've ever met, even in real life, and that scene in which she starts talking **** about your companions just like it was funny pisses me off a great deal. Too bad that I have no better option: I'm roleplaying an atheist Inquisitor, so I can't really romance Cassandra, since she is all about the chantry and gets upset if you try to explain her that you are not the chosen of Andraste. Sera doesn't like men, Vivienne treats you like she was your mother and feels like she has to teach you everything... anyone else? I think the game doesn't allow you to hit on Leliana and I think that is for the best, since it wouldn't be realistic if she fell in love with every hero she met.
I wrote down my thoughts on female romance options in this game to make a point: we can't blame Bioware developers if the characters they provided us with don't satisfy us: even in real life it's difficult to find the perfect match and they have already gone too far in terms of diversity in order to try to please everyone.

You could play as a female Elf and romance Solas. I know in some ways it is kind of a bummer how so many of the LIs are only interested in specific race or genders, but it is also kind of nice because it feels more realistic that the charecters have their own preferences and intrests and such.

Correct, and that diversity means they can't give too many options unless they make 20 characters. Then you'd run into the problem of them being watered down or shallow.
