I had just gotten an Xbox One controller to use with my PC and while the drivers were installing, I got an error about them trying to terminate an unusual runtime error or something like that. I clicked OK and the driver window closed(it looked to be around 50-75% from its task bar icon). I started up PayDay 2 to see if it worked and I could navigate the menu fine. So, what was up with that error? And should I be expecting any issues? I didn't find many results from google and I saw one person mention that it could be caused by having the 360 controller drivers installed as well.

Sounds weird.i would say check to make sure the drivers are installed, but you stated they are.and update if need be.other then that, i dont have a clue.last comment is, you might have to uninstall then reinstall/update

Do you happen to know where the controller drivers are located?

All right, thanks. It seems to be installed correctly and I double checked for updates just in case and it said I was up to date. I guess the error was just a fluke then and it installed everything.

Software has 3 categories of errors. Compiletime, runtime and logical error.
Compile time happens when writing programs and compiling the programs. Executes the halting of the compiler.
Runtime error happens after the program has compiled and is now running in memory.
Logical is only an error in terms of logic.
Basically, you application was running but had to stop due to something. I am sure you are fine.
