Sorry if this topic is out there but skyhold has me reeling with it's mystery.

Skyhold--Tarasyl'an te'las--was "the place where the sky was held back."

And why is the veil old there? Unless it was where the veil was created. Does the veil need to be constantly reenforced which is why that location has been visited so many times but whatever knowledge the ancient elves had was lost when fereldan leveled it?

If there's another thread out there, would love to get people's thoughts, or start one here. I've loved DA lore for 5 years but am only starting to see the amazing web they're weaving and don't know a ton.
