Is there a documented glitch with closing the Forannan Ravine glitch? I couldn't find it on the internets.

 

It seems to me that it just keeps spawning bad guys. After killing the third wave of Greater Terror + Demons and seeing a fourth spawn, I just gave up.

 

Or do Rifts start spawning more waves than 2 the further you go?

 

One thing I noticed was that the Despair demons tend to run far away from the spawn point, and I wonder if that somehow resets the Rift when I ran after them to kill them.

Rifts will definitely reset if you are too far away from them. It allows you to back off if you find the rift too high-level for you.

Ok, cool. I have seen them reset when I run from them, but probably what happened here was that the Demon ran far away, we chased, and we ended up outside the zone. Cheers.
