I just had this funny DAMP moment that had me in stitches.

 

I took my Hunter out for a spin on Threatening, and ended up in a group with 2 Reavers and 1 assassin. What a journey that was! These Reavers were in total #yolo mode - they would rush into the middle of the pack, take a couple of swings and go down in 3 seconds. The Assassin would chase some random mob and try to stab it to death with auto-attack while ignoring the archers that used him as target practice. At the start of round 2 one of the Reavers and the Assassin had used up all their rezzes, while the second Reaver had 1 rez left...and then the fun began.

 

1 Reaver gets instagibbed by a Templar Shadow and bleeds out (since he had already died 3 times), while the second one goes down to some archers. No big deal, the Assassin and I clear out the mob pack and I start to rez the Reaver. While rezzing him, I see that the Assassin is opening up a Treasure Room - ok no big deal. The moment the Reaver is up, he goes into yolo-mode and rushes ahead to pull the mobs that are further up the street. That's the moment the Assassin decides to open the Treasure Chest. And of course, it spawns a guardian. The Assassin gets nuked in two seconds. The Reaver has managed to pull 5+ mobs and goes down instantly. And I'm standing in the smack middle of everything (the Treasure Room with the guardian behind me, and 5+ mobs hauling ass towards me from the front).

 

AT EXACTLY THAT MOMENT, my Hunter utters the perfect comment: "I'm getting too old for this ****!". That was the most perfectly timed comment ever and had me laughing my ass off. Kudos to BW!

Two Archers and a Keeper on Threatening die into the Fade on 4/5. My Necro groans. I laugh my ass off.

I was in a PUG and one player had the mic on. He or she didn't say anything throughout the match, but as soon as wave 5 started, he or she played Aerosmith's "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing". It was so perfect, and I could not stop laughing.

I was running some games with Nothatasian, we don't know each other we just stuck together for like 10 games one night, anyway I was in the back getting left behind gold and I turn a corner and one of those manatee looking... things... comes charging through the doorway and splats me.

I audibly lol'd over the mic since that was the first death for me all night. Killed the whole team. Only Nothatasian survived. He pulled a win through for us though.

Next game, I turn a corner... boom... grisly bear AoE to the face.

I lol'd again.

my god that is so great. 

My favorite is this keeper who drew the RT commander's aggro and is just standard attacking him at nearly full health.  So the RTC starts charging his whirlwind and the keeper is just standing there shooting away and doesn't move.  He keeps firing and the RTC get to him and knocks him back far enough that he has time to stand up and start firing again and gets it again and goes down.  I lead the RTC away and pick up the keeper.  And not 20 seconds later the same exact thing happens.

In a match with a Legionnaire and Katari, during a wave change room with the red lyrium/boxes cluttering the path

 

LegoBanter - "One time in the Deep Roads I held off a group of darkspawn for two days."

KatariBanter - "Why did they not just step over you?"

 

Lego player stops in between the narrow gap and says "Try it."

 

The Katari player proceeds to try to get by him, unsuccessfully due to player collision.

 

 

I was laughing pretty good.

But none of that sounds funny. It sounds it's the very thing that makes this game not funny. Lol? Anyway my funniest moment is when I try play when I'm super drunk and I just end up hiding a line of sighting from archers because I've literally forgotten how to play a game with 5 buttons

My confession:

 

I’d read on the forums how awesome the Assassin is when played well and watched Penguin Fetish’s videos of him tap dancing around enemies, nonchalantly one-hit killing anything that moved and then stuff that didn’t even have time to move yet. So when I unlocked the class, I felt the dreaded Pressure To Perform™ and thus kill kill kill.

 

Assassin level 4, second game with her: I confidently cloak and dash like a heat-seeking missile into a room full of enemies. I target an unsuspecting fool with his back turned to me and Twin Fanged him expecting greatness. No damage. I slash and slash and it took me a good few seconds to realize I was targeting the Inquisition Agent we are meant to rescue…

I once killed a lone Archer with my Katari and got panicked for a few seconds (thanks to the Grisly Mutilation bug). Not only does he die when ranged units look in his general direction or he stubs his toe on a corpse, but he also gets scared when he actually manages to kill something. The Katari has probably been the butt of more jokes than any other character in our group.

I was laughing pretty good.

 

You can charge through other players though.

I've had this happen where I attacked a spider that was down some stairs, landed on top if it and then shot up straight into the air, went through the ceiling, and re-spawned back at the beginning of the area.

Yeah, that's always fun, though I mostly get that when using Flank Attack down stairs.

Getting "session lost" and after 12 tries, when I finally DO get in a game, I find my character unable to move... haha! ... so funny! ... *cries*

Death fixes it. Bit tricky to die most of the time tho ...

Experienced party, doing some threatening to get to level 10+. 1 Player brags about doing perilous with 3 level 1 keepers, and a tank, saying that all you have to do is pull aggro and stay behind a doorway, staying grouped together for the constant barriers while the tank taunts most aggro. Next game, our hunter goes to keeper, and we try it. 2 Level 11 keepers, 1 level 1 keeper, and me, a level 11 legionare, PERILOUS. First mob we pull, a bronto charges into our group out of nowhere, knocking half of us into bleeding out, while I pull aggro and try to kite away from the downed players. as soon as they are up, bronto charges, knocks two of us down again, me included. Meanwhile everyone is on mic yelling to run away and omg's. This continues until we have all died twice, used all health potions and finally bring the beast down in the STARTING ROOM. WE didn't make it very far..

Better than the first time I tried perilous.  We started the first fight great.  Took out most of the enemies while still at full health.  Then ALL FOUR of us got killed by the last enemy from the group: a lone Venatori guardian.

Heh we ran into a group of enemies. One soldier was left.

I was killed. Someone resurrected me but was killed by this one soldier.

 

Someone else resurrected that guy but was killed also by that soldier and I resurrected him and was killed again by that one soldier.

Lol this went on a while until one of us bothered to kill that one remaining soldier.

 

I had to laugh so hard I wasn't able to play anymore seriously for the rest of the match.
