MY brother, whom I gave DA:I to because I thought he would like it, has made the decision to give it to his friend as well. I bought 2 copies through Gamestop but it looks like he will have to give it to his friend though origin. How does he do this?

I do not believe Origin supports gifting.

Your brother may have to find another way of acquiring the game for his friend.

Just give him/her the serial key & his friend can redeem him/herself on Origins.

He just bought the game on amazon. Problem solved. Though it does suck you can't gift the game through origin like you can do through steam games.

Since Steam is starting to region lock I wonder if that is something EA just didn't want to have to deal with.  It would be a nice feature and maybe one day it will be there, but at the same time I don't want to run into an issue being unable to gift a game to one of my friends because they don't live in the same country as I do.

That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the heads up.
