Hello!
Crap, er, sorry if this has been answered before, but I was wondering if there is more armor available the higher I set the difficulty? For instance, am I able to get a piece of armor in Nightmare I would not find in Casual? Thank you!

No. Armor drops aren't affected by difficulty (as far as we've been able to tell). Difficulty doesn't impact drops and crafted gear > drops is pretty much the game.
What about xp gain? Effected by difficulty?

I haven't tested it thoroughly (just the prologue) but I didn't see a difference.

Seems like this would be a good way to encourage people to spend their time attempting the game at a higher difficulty, since Nightmare is kind of ridiculous. Also, thanks!

It's silly but I really don't see that big a difference between normal and nightmare. I've done only one play through on each difficulty, and they all boil down to the same: The first part of the game (tutorial) is annoyingly difficult, and if you focus on higher tier crafting it all becomes trivial at higher levels. With current difficulty differentials between levels, there's little point in adding a reward for higher difficulties.
Don't fear the Nightmare, just push through the first part, and eventually you'll even forget you're on nightmare.
