I tried using a Two-Handed Build but I'm not use to having slow power v.v I'm more use to being a defensive Tank. (So why don't you pick Champion?) Well I have Blackwall in my party already so I picked Templar to become the party's buffer however I seem to be unable to find a good build.
Shield and Sword (Templar) any builds?

Shield bash, payback strike, Charging Bull(with upgrade for free WoH), Wrath of Heaven, Spell Purge, Horn of Valor, shield wall, Blessed Blades/Grapping Chain/Focus ability.
Have two items enchanted with "Hidden Blades on Hit"; since identical enchanments don't stack one of should be "5 hidden blades on hit"(from red templar foot soldiers) and other "4 hidden blades on hit"(from undeads), Wrath of Heaven can trigger more than one hidden blades since its damage aoe. One item should have "5 guard on hit enchanment" easiest way to get one is saving the game in front of a silverite vein and loading untill you get a fade touched silverite. Silverite veins can be found at Empirese de Lion there is one near to a camp which you take before Bone Tower, north side of this camp there is tunnel which leads to further camps, at the entrence of this tunnel there is a vein.
WoH and spell purge causes combo which hits 4-5k with one handed weapons this combo works on any enemy that can be stuned this limits its usage however if you trigger the combo on even one of the enemies it does damage to all of them even if they're not stunned.
Blessed Blades has two effects: one is plain %15 damage bonus to anyone stands on the circle; other is a %10 damage bonus that only works againts demons but persists even outside the circle so this skill "is" usefull.
Best one handed weapon schemetic is at Hissing Wastes, in the tomb at the north-east corner of the map, name of the area is "Colossus". There is camp spot there and you'll eventualy find it if go to the north-east from this camp
Stack Melee defense on your shield, best mineral with melee defense is everrite, you can get it by sending Leiana to resource missions of Western Aproach. Also there are two veins in Empirese de lion in Bone Tower camp; they're at the other side of the camp, same side with the giant stone bridge, they're at the very edge of the cliff that looks to the river.
Best shield can be bought from Empirese de lion, castle merchant (dwarven ceremony shield).

Err same level masterworks do not stack. Therefore 1 hidden blades enchant will help.

I am actually more partial to the Noble shield if you are lucky to get it to drop..
6 Metal defence against 14.. but you get 8 cloth defence so you could easily stack on a bit of magic resistance.. throw this on a dwarf templar and it helps to mitigate a lot of the magic damage even further.. Chuck on some cloth and you have a 14% boost.. add that to the dwarfs default 25%, templars 10% passive plus the perk that adds 10% to everything.. that's what.. 59% by default.. get some cloth defence spots on your armor... Roll around in some legion of the dead armor with all melee defence boosted and a superior inquisitor hat for another 17.5 (18) magic defence.. you are only what.. 3 magic resistance shy of the cap.. Don't like the hat look on a heavily armored warrior? no problem.. throw on a fereldan scout hat for a boosted 6 metal defence.. and roll around in a superb belt of magic defence +10% Magic defence from griffon wing keep in the western approach.. again, only a handful of points shy of the cap. Especially since with T4 Legion of the dead armor and a T4 Noble shield, your defence is already high enough that enemies only deal 1 damage from physical attacks (range and melee) thereby leaving only magic deflection a requirement. Hell, swap the Fereldan scout helmet for the helm of the inquisitor and you hit the magic resistance cap instantly.
