I expect there would still be complaining. People complain about the appearance of characters who aren't romancable already.

Why on Earth would I no longer care about the attractiveness of characters just become they're not romanceable?

Probaply less, but I'd imagine there would be still some unhappy people complaining about lack of eye-candy.

The looks don't really bother me in ME and DAI. The lack of animations in facial features in DAI dos, and the fact that female qunari (and qunari in general) basically only get bald, mohawk, and tight hair bun like Ashley did in ME1 and ME2. Granted, hair options were never great in the ME series, but what we got in DAI, especially compared to the rest of the customization (the voices are fine) is a big let down.

If I remember correctly, Gaider had a post on his blog (or maybe it was a post on the old forums) where he talked about reactions to female characters of the DA games. Apparently there has always been people complaining about the female characters' appearance after every game (I think Leliana was accused of having "fish lips") - it's not just DAI.

Yes the DAI female characters are ugly because they've been intentionally masculinised. This is all part of the new world order, feminist, social engineering agenda which Bioware wholeheartedly takes part in.

Confusing gender roles and masculinising women while feminising men serves to make the population more controllable.

One reason that the globalist elite have been pushing feminism and subjuagting men is because men are the biggest threat to their control of the populations. In every takeover or suppression of an enemy throughout history the men were taken out first. Men are more likely to view totalitarian authority as an alpha male threat whereas women are more likely to view it as a protector (related to women liking the 'bad boys'). Men are thus more likely to challenge authority and are physically more dangerous.

Globalist inspired feminism is also a lot about societal divide and conquer. They need to destroy the social fabric to make it harder for familial relationships to form particularly between men and women as families provide cohesion and resistance against tyranny. So pushing women to abandon traditional nurturing female traits and to pursue male qualities creates friction as men have evolved to protect and compliment women not compete with them. Relationships have become harder to form between men and women, divorce is at an all time high, marriage at an all time low as women abandon their biological natures in favour of pursuing masculine traits, ending up with internal conflict and they are often unhappy.

Another key aspect stemming from the destruction of the family and the forcing of women into the workplace via social feminist propaganda and economic manipulation is that children become raised by the State. They can get force fed constant establishment propaganda throughout their lives with a heavily reduced parental influence. This is not say women shouldn't have careers but they feel pressured to put work before raising kids and with the engineered credit crisis they often don't have a choice.


Bottom line, there's a sinister political agenda at work designed to subvert gender roles, subjugate and disempower men and erode the family.

IMO everyone in DA:I is fugly to the point of distraction. Makes it hard to play. Hoping for better in Andromeda but certainly not holding my breath. Different game engine is to blame.

The fact that a man wants to dictate a woman's role in life makes me sick... and while I can normally stomach this crap from religious fundies that know no better, the use of -ise over -ize makes me think this poster is British, Canadian or Australian/NZ which probably means there is likely no diminished capacity; just run-of-the-mill secular misogyny.
