Sorry but she's average, not sexy at all. And considering the amount of topics on that subject here and on the internet I think a lot of people are thinking the same way. Just go on gamefaqs and there are like 20 topics about how females in DAI are not attractive.

Never happend back then when ME3 or DA2 were released, so we can assume it's a problem for many people...

Maybe. DAI hasn't that much of sex appeal, and that's a good thing for me. Being hot, at least for me, is not being able to totally see dat ass or dat bewbs, even if Cassandra has one of these features.

But for DA2, they were horrible LOL. The hottest female was the default femhawke, unless if people are using mods and making everyone look gorgeous.

Nah Bethany was the hottest female ^^

And Isabella looked like a pornstar so that was fine for a lot of people. DAI has no pornstars nor hot females ^^

Because she wore nothing! Maybe a nightshirt *strokes chin*, point taken.

Pornstars for the next Mass Effect then, starting with a sexy krogan.

I kind of want "Space X-Men" actually. If everyone is so heavily armoured that they look like mechs, you lose some of the humanity of the characters. It's why it didn't feel like murder when you killed hundreds of Cerberus shock troopers.

I agree with this.

The characters shouldn't look like walking tanks.

Has this ever been a problem in ME, though? When I think of "walking tanks" for characters, I think of Gears of War. I've always liked the armored characters in ME, with a few cheesy, dated or poorly textured exceptions.

It hasn't been a big problem, but there were a few examples late in the series. Some of the Cerberus troopers were wearing armor that was too bulky. Other than random goons both Shepard (N7 Defender Armor) and Vega had walking tank armors similar to the Cerberus troopers. That being said both were optional. I never had Shepard wear the N7 Defender Armor and I usually had Vega use this one:

Agreed. The defender armor and some of the Cerberus armors were trending in that direction. I love that particular armor Vega is wearing. I, too, keep him in that armor. I always wished Shepard had a version. It looks very true to life, by current standards.

It's not really the armor, James is just a big guy that's all.

Maybe they use it everytime but you just don't see it. That's why biotics have light armors because they don't need so much protection.

When Samara and Jack used the biotic bubble during the sucide mission, it was only to protect from the seeker swarms and not gunfire. So they would be killed fairly easily since they have to maintain the bubble and not be able to use a weapon. Each time there was gunfire, they stayed in cover. Also they could only maintain the bubble for a short period of time.

Shepard wears heavy armor and can be a biotic so the others can wear armor as well.

Why can't males and females wear the armour suitable for the situation and combat and then dress down and wear something sexy or plain casual on the ship or out at a club/bar or cutscene? That would be believable and satisfy both sides, right? In fact I think they may do something like this if what I read in the known features thread is true...

This.

One thing I liked about Mass Effect 3 is that for the most part characters weren't walking around the Citadel (or hanging out at the bar!) in their combat gear. It is one of the elements that makes the game world seem more real. Give each companion character a casual outfit and use that for any portion of the game where they are blowing off steam in a hub.

I love that particular armor Vega is wearing. I, too, keep him in that armor.

Hopefully the protagonist gets something similar in the next Mass Effect. With that armor design I thought Vega & Kaidan (he had something similar) had the coolest looking armor in the game. They eventually gave Shepard something similar in DLC, but someone made the boneheaded decision of having his version be Cerberus armor rather an Alliance.

Yeah, they were obsessed with Cerberus armor. It was extremely disappointing, to be honest. This is supposed to be an RPG. In what world would Shepard run around in Cerberus armor as Cerberus wages war on the galaxy? Stupid. I do still use those Cerberus armors at times, but it always grates my nerves until I end up back in a suitable N7 combination. Those armors could've been awesome with Alliance and/or N7 colors.

The Cerberus armor is hilarious if you have Shepard wear it during the Citadel coup.

"C'mon Ash, I'm not with Cerberus. Why would you think that?"

Just for the record, I'm told it happened a million times with DA2 at least on here.

But yeah, the DAI-bashing in this regard is prevalent on GameFAQs, its Contests Board, and elsewhere.

EDIT: Whoa, thanks phone. I was apparently a page behind. I'm referring to the widespread anti DAI female looks... thing... of course.

Yeah, I despised that there was so much Cerberus armor, and I basically refused to use any of it. I really wanted the N7 Demolisher's armor, but the closest we could get was the Cerberus Ajax.

You kind of have to love how the "evidence" is set up in that fake video Udina pulled up. The councilor is facing away, and Shepard just does a walk by from behind. "You're gonna pay for that!"

The biggest problem is the squadmates stand there with thier hand/claw/paw/tentacle, whatever up their fifth point of contact and not speak up for Shepard. I mean what's the point of having these squadmates if they don't have Shepard's back?

Companions in ME3 are too passive in general, so it's a problem throughout the entire game. Heck, James disappears when Robo Eva is bolting toward Shepard, though I admit that this scene still looks kind of cool.

I couldn't care less about how sexy they are. I'd rather have a well written character. If you liked Tali by the time ME3 rolled around, it wasn't because of her looks. It was because you liked her for who she was as a person.

So, give me someone with brains or atleast someone with something interesting to say or make them mysterious. I'll take any of those over T&A.

One recurring problem with BioWare is that they are prone to reacting as if this is true. BioWare fan-service has, at times, compromised their storytelling.

Ajax armor looks good in N7 Spectre black:

It also comes in Alliance blue. I would never wear those armours without mods. Cerberus armour... seriously?

Although I asked for X-Men in space, I agree that catsuits and breathing masks are a bit ridiculous bur there has to be a happy medium where the characters can wear something form fitting but with obvious protection. Not just for my own visual pleasure but I want the next game to include a lot more freedom of movement (I'm a addicted to combat rolls and jumping) and it should be part of your spec that certain classes have the ability to zip across the battlefield in very light (but practical) armor. And obviously helmets in a vacuum.

Biotics use the bubble type barriers all the time in cut scenes. Jack used it a couple of times in Grissom Academy, Liara used it in LOTSB and I know I've seen more but can't think. And yes those barriers shrug off projectiles. I would like to see it used as a combat mechanic where you have to actively hold a barrier up against a barrage of bullets that would normally rip through your "passive" barrier.

The only way for him to go is in an explosion on Virmire.
