I had what I'd imagine are one of the best AoE daggers in the game, around 235 DPS. Salvaged them because I really don't see a use for a dual-wielding rogue to inflict AoE, especially such a weak one.
Is there a unique or something

No good uniques. I think AoE and single-target daggers need the damage gap reduced because assassin/alchemist rely so much on abilities for damage. And AoE/single-target 2handers can stay the same but single-target 2handers' enemy tracking and whack-a-mole animation need to be completely redone.

Antivan Dual Blade is the only AoE dagger with any use because of it's utility: Heal 1% health on hit.
Right now though, I use Agony and Gift of the Talons. Fun combo... things are bright and flashy a lot... You know, the exact opposite of how the Argent likes them?

Also keep in mind that AoE daggers are currently bugged and do not count toward the dagger kill challenge. Hopefully something that will be fixed in a patch.

I have a level 21 Ripper Blade that does 249 DPS and has 26% Critical Damage Bonus. I have it paired with a lower level single target Hook Blade just for the faster movement speed while in stealth. Gets the done.
