Having never touched a warrior build and having never played nightmare my shortcomings regarding warriors are now glaringly obvious, especially during lvls 1-10.  She's going down faster than a pair of hooker's nickers, thus leaving the rest of us so-called weaker team members exposed.

Even on hard she took care of herself, but she seems to be made of glass on nightmare.  Now lvl 6, I've merely been pumping all points into her weapon and shield skills.  I have crafted her gear and weapon, so that's not really the issue (I think)

I currently have:

Shield Wall

Payback strike

Warrior's resolve

Bear Mauls wolf

Challenge

None of those skills have been upgraded as of yet. I have a spare point or 2 still to apply, but will wait and see what others say before spending them.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Personally I would choose War Cry over Challenge, it's better for the AoE-aspect and Guard generation. Also, pick up Bull Charge, it's one of the best warrior skills and also adds a lot of Guard and mobility. After that I would go for Combat Roll in the Battlemaster-tree or Shield Bash and Turn the Blade in the W&S-tree. I hope this helps, at least my Blackwall almost never goes down, even pre-Champion.

1 point   - Level 3:  Challenge [Vanguard, Right Side]
4 points - Level 7:  Bear Mauls the Wolves --> Turn the bolt --> Shield Bash --> Turn the Blade [Weapon and Shield]
2 points - Level 9: War Cry upgrade --> Trust The Steel [Vanguard, right side]
3 points - level 12: Grappling Chain --> Crippling Blows --> Combat Roll
--> Go down Templar for whatever you want to get, then get either War Horn or Horn of Valor in Battlemaster.

Thanks a lot to both of you.  The difference is now night and day.
