The banter bug. The banter bug. The banter bug. The banter bug. The banter bug.
I restarted my game today, because it started happening in my other LENGTHY save, hit Hinterlands after the prologue? Spent 2 hours in absolute ****** silence. I don't even want to look at this game anymore.

Only grievance is that my job won't pay me to sit at home and play it. so I have to come to work and sneak time to visit the forums instead.

I have to pick one, it can't be three ![]()
If I had to pick one, probably no custom controller support. Can't stand the Right Trigger being the main attack button. If I could switch it to the A button, my life would be so much easier. Right now I can only play Archer and Mage, no warrior at all because of it.

Movement, why would you change it from DA Origins and 2? This system worked! Who ever came up with this "new idea" Needsto be canned immediately! The PC game is obviously a me too, Idea. Too bad as this game started as, is follow by RPG'rs who play on PC!

1. Cant click to move
2. Cant auto attack
3. Inventory is useless on PC
4. Not enough abilities
5. The abilities menu
6. Ugly companions
7. Stupid companions
8. Having to click the ladder
9. Scan loot button
10. Picking 12431235234 elfroot.
11. Tactical mode is useless
12. No tactics
The story and GFX and whatever I have no opinion on since I cant play this heap of action rpg concole port for more than 2 hours because of frustration that I cant controll my character or party like I should.
4/10 nice work...

Having to refresh (and refresh, and refresh, and did I mention, refresh?) a character every time I want them to take/use a potion or grenade in battle. Just let them die already.

Apart from the many bugs in the game, what has completely destroyed my experience with this game is the tactical camera.
The thing is supposed to be a camera above you, but its movements are constrained to the terrain! If you get stuck up among branches, the damn thing zooms in and out at random and it simply makes me seasick. Disaster.

Banter bug. I have tried every fix in what seems to be utterly random results. I know they're working on it but....the silence....
If we're not counting bugs then
Story wise:
Final Battle: SPOILERS obviously sorry I don't know how to do the hidey thing
***
Just popping up to Cory was really anticlimatic. Where were all my beloved companions, what were they doing? No final speeches? At this point Cory didn't even feel threatening. Just a brat throwing a tantrum on a rock. I feel like the battle should scale up as well. At level 22 it was very easy.
***
Gameplay wise:
Suuuuper simplified tactics. My companions are generally ok, but in certain situations they're just so dumb and I can't do anything about it with such a simplified menu!

The fact that the short list still doesn't actually make things available. The game randomly chooses when stuff will be at the vendors

The invisible walls in areas that shouldn't have them, particularly when I would otherwise be able to get to the area on the other side by some other means, get annoying.
The game is still great though! Haven't stopped playing since I got it.

No reccommended levels to when to enter a new area, oversimplification of tactics and the option to change our weapons during combat are my pet peeves.
As well as the dumbing down of the Grey Wardens because of story reasons, but that`d be a long rant not needed.

There isn't just one thing that frustrates me, it's more the sum of many little things. I could easily tolerate one or two of those, but all together they ruin my experience.

Too much content that serves absolutely no purpose, skills, specializations, hotbar (PC), ugly companions, no focus on what to do at any given time (here are a bunch of territories roam them and finish quests), lag, repeating requisitions, multiplayer. Seriously I think that they're preparing us for "Dragon Age Online".

Single most annoying thing for me that almost made me ragequit and I'm not replaying the game is:
endless trashmob respawns
Everything else I can forgive and survive, but this design crime, just can't.

I think I'm one of the few people, if there are even others, who didn't feel home in Ferelden.
We return to the land we travelled through as the Warden and everything feels so alien.
The way old places are blocked out almost seems like a bad joke.
Then the sudden changes to places we knew: How were they able to not only completely rebuild Haven in only 10 years but also remake the entire mountain around the village?! I can imagine they wanted to get rid of the old cultist houses, sure... but there's no reason for the mountain landscape around it to change.
There's also Redcliffe. You can see the destroyed houses from the other side of the broken bridge but their order isn't like before. Then there is the wall which magically appeared over the years. And who moved the entire village up the hill? Wasn't it really close to the lake before?
I looked forward to see how the old placed had changed over the years. I certainly didn't expect it to be like this.

Its the combat system for me, I really enjoyed the combat of DA:O and DA:2 but I can't stand this combat on any class other than an Archer (which was a lot of fun). The lack of any interesting spells has made mages too boring for me. The dagger rogue swinging at air half the time was too frustrating to continue with and warriors are not my first choice in DA games so I haven't given them a proper chance yet but from the first few levels I wasn't enjoying myself with them.

Hum for me...
1- Lack of hair choices , but more important lack of VIbrant COLORS for Hair!!!
2- Lack of Skyhold Customizations , and customization that mean something and do stuff .
3- Lack of auto-Loot .
4- Lack of storage .
5- Lack of connections between main story and all the Maps .
6- Lack of armor LOOKS . They all look the same . if they can't make more..then bring an unlock of Skin . I would love to have the Skin of a warden armor and be able to make it in different colors . Ohhh and Separate COLoRS and Stats!!! Seriously.....

Read your quest journal. It says where the champions are, and although your map doesn't say where those locations are, it doesn't take a genius to figure it out... Just travel a bit. If I remember correctly, one is in the Darkened Bank or something... You know what a bank is, yes? Search near the river.
Annoying things:
- Mages whose glyphs immediately become active, despite being glyphs. Dumb, and confusing. There is literally no time to escape or dispel them.
- Playing a DW Rogue
- Archers auto-locking onto you and shooting you, even though you (were) in stealth.
- Retarded companion AI.
- Having to jump over tiny rocks.
- Those horrendous Halamshiral/Nutcracker Outfits. Awful.
- Disappearing companions at base glitch.
- Limited low quality hairstyles.
- Inquisitor's Pyjamas
- We're too godlike. I mean, we step in and solve problems way too easily; no matter what, things go according to our plan no matter how dumb we are. The game holds our hand and keeps us from getting out-played, which I find incredibly annoying, as it makes the game seem like fake cardboard. Closing the Breach was too easy. Outwitting the Empress herself was too easy. Defeating Cory was too easy. Every quest, too simple.
- "Male" elf arms
- In fact, none of the DA Multiplayer characters remotely resemble their tarot card art. I'm looking at you, Assassin.
- Anti-climactic final battle
- Lack of interaction between Leliana/Cullen/Morrigan/Alistair... I kind of wanted a reunion, you know? Not a big deal.
- Way too many generic fetch quests that didn't have any different endings.
- War Table missions don't actually affect you, do they?
- Lack of consequence/reaction to War Table mission reports. You Clan got slaughtered? Nobody cares.
- Presence of invisible walls in an "open-world" game.
- Lazy way to block off zones; Provide impassable rock walls that stretch for a mile. Exalted Plains, I'm talking about you.
- Every melee enemy does AOE damage.
- Certain zones were totally unnecessary and have no relevance to the plot.
- No companion deaths that weren't easily avoided (I'm talking about R and the Redcliffe Mission)
- Attacking air because enemies constantly move but we can only awkwardly push forward.
- People showing up fine clothes/armor despite being "prisoners. I mean, nobody gave F prisoner rags? She is still wearing her gown?! Same with our companions at Redcliffe Castle. You'd think they'd remove her armor.
- Fiona
- Saving Flissa/Minaeve/Adon/Seggritt doesn't actually do anything.
- Celene wasn't at all suspicious of F's ominous speech while lingering behind her back? I couldn't believe Celene was so stupid, TME made her brilliant but she was so passive in-game.
- Companions ignore orders occasionally
- No auto-attack
- No storage
- Looting is slow and requires an animation. I'm fine with the animation, but please have the window open while it is playing instead of after.
- Lack of meaningful content in certain zones.
- "Random Damage while travelling" bug.
- Sera
- And worst of all... The removal of tactics.
And despite all that crap, I still really enjoy this game.
