Tool tips over skills so I know what I am doing when switching characters. Option please.

Tactical view is a mess as has been said often.

Why do we have to stand on top of loot to pick it up ? Reduce the distance to pick up please.

Option to increase size of pointer arrow as I often lose it in battle.

Lock and unlock skills bar.

More hair styles please. How many type of bald can you have I mean bald is bald !

Can't decide which of those is worse :

Fighting, which is utterly horrible, clunky, unwieldy and boring.

UI (on PC), which is downright insulting - the lazyness and dishonesty required to make and release such a pile of dogsh... is just unbelievable.

DA:I, like all games, has quite a bit of flaws, but without those two it would be quite enjoyable. They seriously ruin the game.

The exploration and zone sizes are great. The content in those zones is horrendous. If [BioWare] actually put effort into side story quest-lines relevant to the zones instead of clogging them with MMO type grind quests of the most primitive kind it would be enjoyable doing something outside of the main story.

Agreed. Wasting all of those huge, pretty environments on filler quests instead of using them as backdrops for interesting story content (with cinematic camera angles as in ALL previous BioWare games!) is my biggest grievance after the butchered tactics system.

If the game's beautiful open-world environments were used as a means of enhancing the story instead of avoiding it, and if combat was as tactically sound as in previous games, Inquisition would be worthy of its many accolades, IMO. Alas ...

It's still very good. I wouldn't have played it for dozens of hours if it weren't. But it's not as good as it should be, and it's not as good as Dragon Age: Origins, despite having the potential to be.

The dumbed down tactics menu :crying:

It has to be this or the lack of ability to be evil.

Lack of cinematic camera that sometimes makes me feel that I'm playing some mmo. It also makes me disconnected from my main character. While I felt to be close to my Warden or Hawke, I have a feeling that I barely know my Inquisitor.

I hate the inventory/crafting UI for the PC. It doesn't respond well to the mouse and I dread when it's time to do a gear upgrade because it's not laid out in a way that makes it easy to compare options.

You know, I take it back. The clunky UI is frustrating but I can live with it. I don't want to accept the huge filler zones. They are awful.

Some of the areas are far far too big, or have no business existing at all.

Hinterlands, Hissing Wastes, Emerald Graves, and Exalted Planes should have been moderately to significantly trimmed down, and made more relevant to the story.

Wounded Coast and Forbidden Oasis shouldn't even exist at all. Seriously, what exactly is their purpose short of one dungeon each?

Also the removal of Tactics. Awesome! Now I get to constantly babysit my entire party! Thanks Bioware!

you know it really  is disheartening to see  the community of the dragon age game's be hijacked  by a bunch of people  who think the biggest issue in this game are the lack of hair options and romance options, I may just uninstall this game   and  be done with it, the dragon age game I loved no longer exist but I can find solace cause I know many people feel as I do, dragon age games should be about great art style,  good combat , great writing   in all and all I feel this game lack's a lot of creativity the first one had  , and no amount of patches will fix it,

The lack of decent hair and the buggy multiplayer.

Long hair and some better looking hair in general would make my characters so much more appealing, and at least 1 in 3 games in multiplayer I encounter a bug when I join or at the start I simply can't move, and for most cases have no UI and have to wait unitl everyone dies or the map is completed, rather frustrating. I also hope we get some more MP maps soon...

My only complaint is the near 100% CPU usage, with draggy movement and finally crashing.

1. No long hair (esp for women) AGAIN!!!!

2. Stoopid worthless fetch quests (gawd I REALLY hate them)

3. Quests that take forever to complete (e.g. The Tomb of Fairel) with very little pay off.

4. Females Qunari are not nearly as cool, bad ass and hot looking as they should be.

5. Not being able to execute Samson

6. Side quests with no real meaning or emotional connections

7. Those demons that can travel up from the ground and knock you down.

8. High Dragons that wuss out and cry for help. (Just make them harder to kill for goodness sake. Having them call for help is so very LAME.)

9. Those HIDEOUS outfits (that looked like what Zap Brannigan wears) that we all have to were to the Masquerade Ball while EVERY OTHER FECKING WOMAN THERE GETS TO WEAR A REALLY NICE DRESS!!!!!!  GRRRR!!!!!

10. Sentencing people to death while I sit on my throne while wearing pyjamas or some type or gawd awful leisure suit.

11. Having to dress during the ENTIRE game more conservatively than a Victorian Nun while Vinienne and Morrigan run around in outfits that looks like they just came home from working in a club called "Centerfolds".

I better stop here before my BP goes up.

Its not lack of testosterone IMO. It's they are trying too hard to clear up their image after "certain criticisms". *Shakes Head* But what they don't understand is that is was never about how women looked or dressed. But I suppose that is a discussion for another thread.

For me this is really, really easy to pin down. It is the lack of a storage chest. Bioware, please I am begging you get us a storage chest at Skyhold. This could be a dlc, part of a patch, or just a gift to us loyal gamers. My idea is to put a chest at Haven, then when the place gets torched, its taken by the survivors to somewhere at Skyhold, probably in the undercroft where we make our weapons and armor. It should have been added this way already because there are so many items that I want to keep or collect and I know a lot of people feel this way who play this game. There are so many interesting stories behind the weapons that I want to keep and read them later and collect them. I remember years ago in the Elder Scrolls Oblivion that I had a huge collection in the Wizards Tower that was a DLC for that game. Give us something similar and I think it will put this game for me well over a 9.5 as some have given it.

The Bottles of Thedas. Jumped up to that high overlook for an old container?

Leave the quest, but pls make it optional; not some pseudo secret treasure that will lead to spending search time for glassware....

Most of the stuff has already been said in my case but in addition im really disappointed in the necromancer class for this game. Especially when your pet soul thing just stands around for about 90% of its short lifespan and can barely compute getting one hit in before it dies.

I am going to say the whole inventory/crafting UI which is nine kinds of suck and makes doing anything regarding those two areas a huge PiTA. Sort orders are wrong, information isn't presented well, creature research is in with "valuables" and so on.

The singlemost frustrating aspect of this game for me is actually a combination of two things:

1.)  Jumping and sliding.  I've read all over these forums a disposition from two different types of players--those that can't stand the jumping mechanic and those that berate others because they apparently don't have a grip on how to control their character.  I prefer to side with a little bit of both.  Yes, there are places that you shouldn't try to jump up because they're obviously way out of your reach.  However, at the same time, there's other places that you really can't access easily unless you try to jump five or six times until you magically hit just the right quarter of an inch of real estate to land without moving afterwards.  Sometimes shards will be hidden in areas that are obviously designed as jump puzzles, even if these wonderfully "experienced" players can get up there in record time.  Others of us aren't quite as tactile as you.  Just remember that.

2.)  The in-game combat camera really annoys me with its unpredictable zooming in and out.  I would really like to see this either zoomed out or zoomed in, but it always seems to do both at the wrong times and in the wrong places and can't seem to make up its own mind.  I really don't want to control four characters at the same time in the middle of combat and I don't like when they constantly scoot me out of the way while I'm trying to attack from the front.  It's not really that bad, but it can be annoying sometimes.

You know not everyone experiences the same issues, right? I personally think the writing is excellent, the art style is very creative and the combat has never been a priority for a lot of RPG fans.

Don't dare to hijack with your doom and gloom and put down tbhose who are actually enjoying the gamke and who's concerns are not the same as yours. ******.

I don't know about the guy/girl you quoted, but IMO I don't do something "very very wrong", in fact I don't have much choice when it comes to building my mage. For instance, can I put all my ability points into Magic at level up in order to increase my damage while paying the price of having almost no health? No.

Guess how much I like the simplified mage compared to my mage in Origins?

Never heard about crafting? (Btw, you took the worst example possible as this is what the game does for you already, just saying...)

And yes, if you think mages are weak damage wise in this game then you are doing something very very wrong.
