Hey guys, just tossin this out to any who want it.

It's a .SWF character planner I made for all 12 characters. It lists all their skills and the skills' descriptions. I've made it to attempt to mimic the actual game's talent point portion, but you can actually remove skills or kinda reset it.

To open it, if you don't have a program that opens SWF's, you can open it with your browser. As long as flash is supported I think it should work.

Hope it works well for everyone; let me know if there're any glitches.

(also, I didn't know where else to upload it so I just put it on dropbox.. any suggestions on where to upload it instead or is DBox ok?)

Not to ****** on your parade but you're a bit late to the party unfortunately. While your effort is great, I don't see it gain any support unless you can improve upon http://da-skills.net/

There are a couple problems with your version:

  • You use Flash (more at risk with virus)
  • We need to download it (more at risk with virus)
  • It's slow, you need to click on the skill then click "learn" to get it instead of just clicking on it
  • It's even slower when you want to pick the last skill on a tree because you need to click on all previous skills instead of them being automatically taken
  • Can't "remember" a build over multiple sessions

And these are just from the top of my head. Kudos for making the trees fit in the page without scrolling, that's one "low" points of da-skills.net.

If you can improve upon your work you might have a chance, but as it is there's no reason for someone to use it when we already have a better tool at our disposal.

Didn't know that existed. Used Flash cuz it's all I know how to use atm since I'm new to programming. Oh well.

EDIT: Overall the da-skills.net does seem to be better. Sometimes the skills glitch out for me on his/hers, like being unable to unlearn at times or the skill icon shifting down when I drag into the bar. His/hers doesn't allow unlearning a bunch at once like it learns, though, which is a minor thing considering when are you going to unlearn everything. So since in general it is better and looks cleaner, I can see how it's suggested over mine.
