Alright, I just installed ME2, and when I go to load it, it crashes everytime. Tried it 3 times, and it simply comes up with a message saying its crashed. I have all the settings on low. I'm able to run ME1 PC fairly well, so I dont see why I couldnt run this game. I have all the latest drivers as well.
My specs:
1. OS: Windows XP SP3
2. CPU: 3.4ghz Pentium 4
3. RAM: 3 GB
4.
VIDEO: nVidia GeForce 6800 GS
5. AUDIO: SB Live! 24-Bit
6. DirectX 9.0c August 2008

Same problem only its after the character creation but for your problems:
1. Run the game in windowed mode, worked for some
.
2. Execute MSCONFING
- Select the BOOT tab
- Select ADVANCED OPTIONS
- Check NUMBER OF PROCESSORS
- Check DETECT HAL
- Reboot
- Go to the advanced option in the msconfig again
- Choose the correct number of cores you have
3. Green screen load movies - http://www.demonoid....2112700/775222/ (registration required / open at the moment 02-09-10)
- Download and copy the files in biogame -> movies
- Back up the Movies folder in your game directory in the Biogame folder if the fix doesnt work, it will save you a re-install
- Paste the files you copied earlier onto the movies folder (in the game directory -> biogame) and replace the others
And there are my *fixes*
To be honest i have done all all of them and they didnt work for me but im just unlucky...
Hope this helps
