Timestamps matched up at the time of import, and oddly, everything else about Hawke is correct, just not her class! She appears in warrior gear rather than rogue gear. I checked the appropriate worldstate in the Keep, and Hawke still is listed as a rogue there and has been since I created it.

I'm wondering if starting a new save and importing a different worldstate with a warrior Hawke after importing the rogue Hawke but before meeting rogue Hawke had anything to do with it? I've noted that none of my Inquisitors have appeared on my worldstates yet despite appearing on others and despite the fact that I am always online when playing DAI - is it not synching because I don't complete a save while the relevant Keep state is exported?

I had the same issue with my canon Hawke.  They got all other things right (personality, romance, Bethany a Circle mage) but my duel wield assassin rogue turned into a sword and shield warrior.  Restarting the game I got the same thing so just shrugged, went in and put a different version of the same character which worked, proving "Third time's the charm".

I just head canoned Kit was doing a bad Aveline impersonation--or a publicity tour for Varric's romantic serial, Swords and Shields.  Either would have fit my quirky sarcastic Hawke to a tee.

Did you successfully get a rogue Hawke to import, or you used a different Hawks entirely?
I'm going to try re-making my rogue world state from scratch in the Keep and seeing if that makes a difference.

I'm on my 6th playthrough of DA:I/2nd rogue Hawke import and this happened to me too. This is the only import error I've had. My first playthrough imported rogue Hawke perfectly, so I'm not sure what's up.

I got the bug on every playthrough (5 times). No idea why.
