You can't queue actions in Inquisition. You can only give one order at a time to your followers in tactical mode. Outside of tactical mode, you control whatever character you have selected in real time.

You can't queue multiple actions on a single character.

Thanks guys..... appreciate the quick response. that's right there killed it for me. it defeats the purpose of using tactical mode. i think i'll refund the game and pick it up next Christmas for cheaper. overall it's just not as fun as i thought it would be, certain not at this price point.

Not having queue is fine, but I'd really like it if I could cancel the current animation with another action. Stupid terrors keep knocking me down while I'm in the middle of a shot.
Static cage them. It'll even stop their teleport if they try to teleport out.

In single player try tapping your search ping, it will interrupt and cancel your current auto attack, doesn't work for skills though. In multiplayer tap the sprint button for the same effect. This can be abused with warriors at least, giving 2h a much faster swing speed if you ping after your 1st swing eliminating the pause between 1st&2nd swing, and with a 1h pinging after the 2nd swing to eliminate the delay between 2nd&3rd swing.
