No, no, don't bother to read before responding. That would be a waste of time. No one does that.
Apparently no more of a waste of time than ignoring singleplayer menus before jumping into multiplayer.

That was ... not ideal for a first timer.
Everybody playing the same character (presumably for the bow challenge) and landing at wave 5. Yikes.
IMO this is a good habit to get in to but not on routine. The idea of routine for most is to run through it fast and get your character levelled up to get to level 6 or 8 as fast as you can so you can unlock a few skills and passives and to go on to threatening. Should be 3 games at most. Unless you're new new new obviously.I compulsively loot.
I'm not sure how much my team appreciates it, tho'.

Honestly I didn't dare step on Threatening until I had some level 15 common equipment, and happily I got a few on my first day. I wouldn't advice someone to come to a Public Threatening Lobby at level 8 while being under equipped. We all know that this game is all about equipment.
... and by those comments what they really mean wait until you have at least an Item Level 15 weapon and at least level 12 (so that you have all 4 abilities filled out) so that you don't burden the rest of your team on Threatening..
I really don't care about what people think when playing with randoms online. so I would do it.

I didn't even realize that I'd landed in Wave 5 until I'd played another game, that went much longer than I expected!
It worked out, though. I leveled up, and the next couple of games actually went very well.
Dunno what it's like on XBL, but on pc the MP is (half) broken, so... good luck with your PUGs.
Playing campaign all day everyday.

When I finally went to play the campaign, it turned out that I can't import anything from The Keep. So, it's all MP for me until they fix it.
Go for it. And add me on Xbone, if you want. RNGesus has been kind.
ugh. it just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth to read the word "PuG" to myself.

Nobody cares. Cry about it somewhere else.
Go for it, we all had to start somewhere. I know I'll be using my lvl 1 hunter and learning the ins and outs of it
If you are looking for ways to enhance your multiplayer experience try to breath through your mouth as loud as you can. Your teammates will appreciate the constant status reminder that you are alive.
Nah, we all had to start somewhere and I really have seen worse.

I find I make myself more noticeably alive if I do it while maintaining a constant whining note (usually middle "C.")

That sucks. I'd say they have much more to fix in mp though.
The campaign is pretty fun I suggest anyone try it first (with or without keep save import), just don't expect Origins or ME2 quality.

Since it's the only game I have for XBone so far, I may give up and start without importing. But, I spent almost two hours sorting through that stuff (I had to Google almost everything from DA 2 because I could barely remember anything about that game) and I hate wasting 2 hours and having nothing to show for it!
^Talking about DA2, it's better just filling out Keep choices than playing that creepy game ![]()

It wasn't for naught.
I woke up this morning, and with no effort on my part, it magically fixed itself and was willing to import.
I don't know if it was "space magic" or "DA magic," tho'.
