My Warden is off somewhere with Morrigan and I prefer it stays that way.
Except they're not. Your Warden is in some far-flung place to the west trying to cure the Calling.

Or both? This would just be a one off DLC to catch up with the Warden (if alive). There doesn't have too be any opportunity cost involved since we could get Inquisitor DLC beforehand
DAI is about the Inquisitor, not HoF. HoF CAN be involved, but the main focus, playing as them? No.
While it's not the case for everyone, my elven mage Warden would have fit nicely into the story, methinks, seeing as he became "chancellor of Ferelden", acting as Alistair's chief advisor. And, in theory, he would get along famously (head canon) with my Qunari mage Inquisitor, since, well, they're both based on me! Baha!
pretty much!
Um you do know I'm not talking about Cory right?
And DA:O was about the Warden, but we still had Leliana and the good ol' Hurlock Vanguard.
and many people complained about how HoF got little dlc.

I agree, that's why I'm suggesting DLC not a main game for the Warden in Inquisition. It could be similar to Leliana Song. She was by no means
the protagonist of DA:O but they made a decent DLC regarding her story so hopefully something similar could be done with the Warden?

Leliana's song and Darkspawn Chronicles where pointless dlc that could have been used for more adventures for HoF
I support the Warden/Orlesian Warden returning as a DLC protagonist. I'd be fully willing to return to Silent Protagonist status for the duration of a dlc, as well.
It's the Inquisitors story for the time being. A DLC should really be with the Inquisitor in focus or if they go with another Leliana DLC something about a character within the Inquisition.

Hey if you want to see Corys arm come out of the HoF gut, knock yourself out to the idea.
Yet another item to add to the list of "things that are never ever going to happen."

I wouldn't mind them coming back. I just wouldn't want to play them. I am in Inquisitor mode now.

And I'm sure the Inquisitor would still have plenty of their own DLCs in this scenario.
Curing the Calling is kinda a big thing, I doubt it would be pointless fluff like the Darkspawn Chronicles. For the record I don't necessarily believe we have to control the Warden again, but that shouldn't be left hanging, tbh.

I rather enjoyed both of them. Golems of Amgorak was a pointless DLC that could have made better use of the HoF.

The only good thing about it is Reaper's Cudgel in future playthroughs. If you want Easy Mode, that is.
Other than that, it's kind of stinks.
Meh, **** the Warden, **** Hawke, all I care about now is the Inquisitor and the new characters. My Warden's story is over for the most part. Time to move on to the most badass protag yet.
(to Former-Fiend) It also felt incredible short and despite the interesting premise and bits, did not seem to explore it enough from what I've remember. It kind of seemed like left-overs. It was enjoyable but I consider it the weakest out of the Origins dlc I've played.

So...The Warden.

I support such dlc, just not with HoF being playable.
(to Former_Fiend) He said the most badass of them all, that clearly means... The Darkspawn General. He does not care if he is from non-canon, alternate reality - he defies such restraints!
...What? He was a protagonists, a villain protagonists but a protagonists nonetheless.
So...The Warden.
For others, maybe. For me, the Inquisitor.

Eh, I wouldn't hate that. I just feel that the HoF makes a better PC than NPC. Unlike Hawke, who fits into one of three catagories, there's no way to set the Warden's personality.
Also I am going to be pissed off if my two-handed warrior warden shows up with a a sword and shield like my Hawke did.

Please. Just because he beat Alistair. The point of that DLC was that if the Warden was there, the darkspawn would have lost.
For me, the Warden is my favorite character because he was the first with which I played and what brought me into this world , for me the Inquisitor 's just another Hawke . However it would be so cool to see the Warden in a DLC , but I doubt it.
