For others, maybe. For me, the Inquisitor.

I consider my Warden and Inquisitor to be on equal standing on the badass side of things.

I suppose it's likely they'll never meet, because the glorious wombo-combo on evil that would result would shake the universe to its core.

NO! I cant trust that my Warden will be presented in a satisfactory manner, he wasn't even in that war table operation. People keep asking for the Warden but you just know they would greatly regret it if Bioware caved and gave them "The Warden"

I freaking loved my warden, guy was pure awesomesauce and badassery. But I really, really, really. Don't want him to return.

For me, the Warden is my favorite character because he was the first with which I played and what brought me into this world , for me the Inquisitor 's just another Hawke . However it would be so cool to see the Warden in a DLC , but I doubt it.

You know what they say about first loves and all that

That there's a reason you left them in the first place? :D

Can't bring back the warden. Barring fact they might be dead, whoevers voice they pick will never fit what's in everyone's head. Plus her story is done...ish

To those that say they should just have multiple voice options....uhhh, that is barely cost effective. It's not a cheap thing you ask for. The fact they had two voice options was pretty impressive for DAI, and still not without bugs for it. Again it's also not just the voices either. Because there were voices in DAO, but they were for things like shouts and whatnot which were easy to have choices for. But there is also the fact not everyone played the hero in a hero like fashion. Some people went out of their way to play the most "evil" they could. I'm still curious how they glossed over some Hawke's being blood mages, but still. In DAO it wasn't as clear cut like DA2 the personality type of the character. Unless they water down the character personality in the tapestry (which is possible, but I imagine so much HATE coming from that). Visually it would be easy to remake the warden, but everything after that....for a dlc? Come on....like I said, too much work, not worth it in the end.

Which is another reason why I personally support the Warden as a dlc protagonist; they could go back to silent protagonist for nostalgia's sake.

Can't have the Warden as a silent NPC, though.

It would have been cooler if the HoF was at the Conclave in the beginning of DAI. I was half-expecting that.

Problem solved.

Emphasis on the 'ish.' Because she's kind of on the search for something pretty big right now.

They aren't going to make a dlc for a character who may be dead esp with companions who may also be dead. I'd be surprised if we don't see the warden as an npc in the next game, though.

Don't get me wrong, I think that would be fun as hell and, to be fair, the appeal is no more limited than the darkspawn dlc

They could well put the Orlesian Warden from awakening in the place of a dead HoF.

You know what will happen because you people can't leave my HoF be, BW is going to kill them off as canon permanently just to put it to bed. Then poor Morrigan will have lost a lover and Kieran a father. Thanks BSN my heroes family is now even worse than before :(

In my opinion I thought the inclusion of Hawke as a NPC was well done.  And since I have no weird Warden fetish with my old characters, I would have no issues with us as the Inquisitor(because at the end of the day this IS NOT Mass Effect, the Inquisitor, Hawke, the Warden, are all just vessels to allow us to explore the world of Thedas) helping out the Warden with their quest to end the calling once and for all.

I think they were using Hawke as a way to test the waters with bringing back the Warden the same way, and I don't see this forum flooded with tears over Hawke being Hawke but the Warden is alas the Warden and as I mentioned earlier, odd fetishes are abound, but I feel the majority of people will accept it if it means the Warden shows back up.

Plus since we know the HoF is doing Warden business, one would assume he his with his Warden buddies which means, yes, for the third time, OGHREN RETURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh the troubles my Dwarf Inquisitor will get up to with Oghren, Varric and the casteless Dwarven paragon.  Such fun to be had.

I wouldn't care about the voice. Better getting used to a voice than never seeing the warden while seeing all the other protagonists again. And the dead thin isn't a viable objection. (see Alistair/stroud and Awakening)

Considering my Wardens voice is similar to Robins Sachs voice, unless Bioware has necromancy, he will not sound like my warden at all with a VA

Just make it a darkspawn chronicles alternate universe kinda thing where Corypheshite takes over the warden.

To appease the HoF fanboys/girls, you can also make Coryphenus invincible due to having absorbed the awesomeness of the warden, failed worldstate ftw.

(Corypheshack should go silent for the rest of the game though, can't have the warden be voiced after all)

I actually didnt like Hawke's cameo in DAI , that wasnt the Hawke i played as in DA II and im sure there are going to be a lot of people who would not recognize their Warden should he be brought back.

No thanks considering roleplaying in dai is pretty much is forcing you into heroics.

They rly should just leave wardens alone and don't touch them to not destroy them even more ignoring how we played them.

I'd buy any such DLC in a heartbeat.

My Warden, Sigrun and Nate going about trying to cure The Calling? Chuck in Bodahn and Sandal? I dig it.

Yeah but isn't there a way to get there without bringing them back? I think the different endings would be too crazy for bioware. They've brought back so many folks that could be dead it's probably a logistics nightmare.
Spoiler
Pretty sure, after the credits
Spoiler
plus for those read the calling, the fans know there is
Spoiler
so not sure how exciting it would be to just play our warden figuring out what we already know is possible

I don't know about an expansion with the HoF/OWC as the sole protagonist. But as a co-protagonist with the Inquisitor as they solve the remnants of the "Warden Problem" in Southern Thedas sounds good. And Kal-Sharok/Deep Roads should be the setting.

I love the warden but have absolutely no wish for a dlc or any future content with them as a central character.  I'd be okay with a cameo, but as far as I am concerned their story is over.  I want DLC that relates to what we have learned in inquisition, especially a wolf hunt one.
