Considering my Wardens voice is similar to Robins Sachs voice, unless Bioware has necromancy, he will not sound like my warden at all with a VA
I'm at peace with my Warden, the one who's alive anyway. Finding out down the line that she succeeded in her quest, went back to Leliana, and is still out there doing her thing would be fine with me. Don't need more than that. So long as they don't meddle with it afterwards and bring all the people close to her back again to do earth-shattering stuff leaving me wondering where the heck she is. I.e, splitting up her and Leliana yet again, come on now.
Wouldn't say no to seeing her again, though. If I wasn't wary of everything getting screwed up.
DLC with the Inquisitor. Come on guys, it's time to move on.
My Warden is the Queen of Ferelden and rules with King Alister! Anora got put out to pasture.
Unless the DLC is entitled: DA: Kingmaker - and my Warden cures the Calling, returns to his Throne, strengthens Ferelden and marches on Orlais or the Free Marches with his son Kieran Cousland (the non-filthy Old God variety) at his side - I'm not interested.
I want to see my warden again.

Thanks to Hawke being a complete failure of a PC, imho. BW´s word on lots of issues is about as trustworthy as a politician´s, so stop acting as if it were gospel. They´ve shown time and again they lie when it suits them.
Huh? Hawke has nothing to do with it. This was the way the franchise was conceived since day one. There.Is.No.Conspiracy. The sooner people come to terms with this fact, the better. It's tiresome seeing all of these "bring back the warden" threads when we know that it isn't going to happen. Closing your eyes to the multiple occasions where they said the DA franchise isn't going to repeat protagonists doesn't make it a lie. And lets be honest, the warden was the weakest of all protagonists and the most insignificant.
I really was not happy to see Hawke in DAI. The game really did not need Hawke. I would have simply preferred that Inquisition via Varric tell me that Hawke died defending a village against mages and templars. I would have preferred that the HoF was reported killed while fighting darkspwan helping the dwarves reunite thaigs in the Deep Roads.
IMHO the dlc for Inquisition should be about the Inquisitor and his/her story. DA4 should be about a whole new protagonist.

There was nothing wrong in knowing what Hawke was up to since the end of DA 2. It provides closure for those who wondered about him. If you've played the game then you obviously know why Varric didn't tell anybody because he said so himself as to why he never brought it up. It became apparent as to why Hawke was there once you knew who the villain was, mostly because Hawke encountered him first. Our heroes don't need to die just because you don't want to see them show up again.
Anyways, as for me I don't really see a point to the warden coming back. I mean if you talk to Blackwall, they don't really do much when there isn't a blight. If it's not Grey Warden stuff, then your warden wouldn't really be involved in much unless he, or she, decided to help out with the other issues at hand. I would like to see my warden just to hear a voice come out of his mouth though. If there was one thing that drove me crazy about Origins, it was our wardens not having a voice. I literally cannot describe in words how much of a personality my Warden lacked by sitting there watching him blankly stare at people as you choose a dialogue line for him to say. Not to mention that half the dialogue you could pick from was pretty irrelevant since whoever you were talking to would wind up saying the same thing anyways. At least with a voice I'd feel like my warden had some life in him instead of feeling like a stick in the mud. It made it seem pointless to me for us to pick a voice for them when they'd only speak during combat. I'd like to know how he's doing, but that's about it

If people don't want to play as the Warden, then they probably shouldn't purchase the DLC. If your a fan of the Warden then it probably merits a purchase. Asking for a DLC which is likely only 10-12 hours long (at most), potentially with a silent protagonist I doubt will prevent a significant amount of DLC from being produced for the Inquisitor or any ideally. Fans of the Inquisitor, the Warden, or both all get additional content they desire. That's pretty innocuous to me.
I love my Warden, but I think BioWare should leave the character alone. I'd rather have them alive and mentioned briefly a few times than deal with another difficult decision a la that one quest in Inquisition.
Don't get me wrong, I do hope that the cure for the Calling isn't something the writers made up just to keep the Warden busy and that it will be explored further because it is a pretty big thing, but to have the Warden as an important part of it when not everyone played Origins or their Warden is dead is not very likely.

They aren't going to keep the Warden as a silent protagonist if he or she is brought back now. With how everyone's getting voiced over now, we can expect the Warden to be voiced as well

You have these really high expectations of BioWare, not only will you never play as the Warden again, and your only hope is for him to be a tag along with The Inquisitor, you will also not get a 10+ hour DLC. Maybe 5ish and that's probably twice as long as we'll likely get.
I'm happy with my warden traveling the world trying to cure his taint ![]()
But yeah, My Warden has a "wife" in Morrigan and they have a son. He's moved on with his life so I'm not in the mood to beat a dead horse.
If anything we need an Inquisitor DLC and this time give us some freaking personality and better dialogue options. Something connected to Solas, most certainly.
How about if you want to play as the warden you play DAO? That's what I will do when I want to see the warden again. There's this wonderful thing called "moving on."
That's a funny way of spelling "Hawke". Anders is more important than Hawke is. Hawke is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things whereas the Warden is pretty important if for nothing else than their relationship with their companions, several of whom play important roles in the history of Thedas. Hawke is more his own character than yours, he has certain beliefs (Andrastian, anti-blood magic, etc) that you cannot change. He's a very weak player character because he's not really a player character. He's Bioware's character.Huh? Hawke has nothing to do with it. The Warden had a pretty complete and great story. The Inquisitor on the other hand had a pretty weak and lackluster story. Their fortress never gets fully repaired, their antagonist is rather pathetic development-wise, and most of the cool stuff happens in the epilogue scene. If ANYONE needs an expansion it's the Inquisitor, DA:I is pretty weak at the moment, an expansion could really let the Inquisitor shine. Especially if Bioware actually let us inquisite. How about if you want to play as the warden you play DAO? That's what I will do when I want to see the warden again. I'd be alright with the Warden reappearing as a cameo but not a playable character. As for giving the Warden a voice, I don't care seeing as they only said a few phrases. I wouldn't mind my Fem'cousland being voiced by Nadia Verrucci (Juno from assassin's creed).
That also being said, I'm content to at least hear about the Warden's progress like they have done in DAI (just a little more please
)
I would be fine with The HoF showing up again, even if it didn't match how I made him, simply because I would be happy to see him again.
Hawke wasn't exactly how I played her( My Hawke was a Blood Mage who was a fan of the Grey Wardens) but I was willing to compromise just to see her again.
I also wouldn't mind who voiced him but I really hope it's Troy Baker.( And Laura Bailey for female Wardens)
This is so unreasonable it's not even funny.
