Supposedly this rare herb is found in the Hissing Wastes and Western Approach.  Anyone find a reliable location for witherstalk?

I've mostly found it in the forbidden oasis.

Mostly forbiddin oasis but, some in hissing wastes too. It looks like tall, dead grass so easily ignored and missed and, it is sparce so, have to look for it.

There are several witherstalks (and dragonthorns) near the starting camp in the Forbidden Oasis.

Thanks, everyone!  I found my first one in the Forbidden Oasis en route from the fade rift south of the Desert Camp to the fade rift north east.   The second one I found under the bridge at Grant's Crossing, north east of Elizabeth's Garden. You're right, Dark Amaranth, it looks like tall dead grass.

I have never seen a witherstalk in The Hissing Wastes? Where? Out in the empty sand areas?

As for The Forbidden Oasis you can find many witherstalk if you take a tour in the dunes from left to right side. There's LOTS of them.
