Okay so basically I've created multiple polls, which are sort of like the tapestry choices found in Dragon Age Keep. I did this to see what the most popular choices for certain events in Dragon Age: Inquisition were. Here they are:

Nice. Also good work with all the polls. (I checked all... well except 1 lol)

You should consider adding some though in last section, even if no "major decisions", just to have everyone there :) Also, for example Josephine's quest has a "major decision" as you seem to identify it. And Dorian has a major decision too in his quest, as I see it :)

Cheers

Good polls, however i'v only just put the choices of my most recent playthrough (Elf mage female) with some metagame knowledge, so in theory I could choose multiple options for a few of them. Also I feel like other characters had important choices like Cole becoming more human, or spirit and Solas killing the mages or not. Anywhom goodjob.

For Josephine, do you mean the one with the House of Repose? I could add that one. I also forgot about Dorian's quest, I should add these! Thank you!:)

I forgot about Cole's quest, will add his in later. Didn't even know about Solas' quest decision since I've only gotten Measuring the Veil to trigger, but not the others. I'll add that one too, I will just probably have to check the wiki or the forums for his quest information. Thanks!:)

Yes, there's 2 very different ways of solving Josephine's quest, which also affects Leliana :)

And with Dorian, while not a "big decision" you can advice him to go in two rather different directions.

Cassandra has a few choices in her personal quests too and so on  ^_^

Race might be a basic option to add.

Also, for the Warden/Hawke one, might be nice to break down by individual Wardens.

Just suggestions!

I only put answers for my first/blind playthrough. I didn't do some of the optional companion quests, though, which wasn't a poll option, so I skipped answering those.

Oh yes I forgot to add the race poll. I was planning on adding it but I must have forgotten with all of the other polls lol will add that one soon.

Perhaps I should add that option then!:)

Maker, help me..

OP, if you're so eager to gather some statistics, why not to use the proper poll engine (at the very least)?

This poll is as useless as many I've seen before. It does not show anything at all, nothing, zero usefulness!

E.g. The 'left in the Fade'.... had it NOT occurred to you that leaving Stroud in the Fade is one thing, but leaving Loghain or Alistair behind is quite a different choice?.. How could you even put them all together?

Same for gender and race. Now you'll  know that (let's say) there are 60% males, 30% females and 10% had picked the third option (either for a reason or just for fun). And there are 50% humans, 20% elves, 15% dwarves and 15% qunari... How many had played as a female elf? How many of those who did had romanced Cullen instead of Solas? How many male characters were interested in Jozie? How many Cullen-mancers had sided with the mages?  How many female dwarven rogues had ever existed?... There are hundreds of questions that your 'polls' will never help to answer.

I appreciate your feedback and suggestions but I care little for criticism unless it is constructive. Telling me how useless these polls are does not make me want to accommodate them to your liking, it only makes me wonder why I should care what your opinion is since you presented it in such a foolish manner.

Now as for your suggestions, I was planning on doing a combined race and gender poll afterwards in an edit, as my first post suggests, this is not a completed thread yet, there are still many polls to come.

I wasn't sure whether or not to include Alistair, Stroud, or Loghain in there as separate choices or different ones. Thank you for this suggestion, I'll be creating a new poll soon to include each of these as separate options.

I also stated in my first post that I would only be including major decisions and not small details. For example, the romance option poll is meant to show the most popular romance option. I'd love to see the different choices of romance options depending on the Inquisitor's race or gender, but some of your suggestions are a tad bit unreasonable. If I cared how many Cullen-mancers had sided with the mages, I would've asked, but I honestly don't care at the moment. Once I get the major decisions and other crucial parts of the game, I will add polls that deal with smaller details such as these, but I don't have the time to create those ones right now. They will probably have to wait until after I get the main polls up for Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dragon Age II, and Dragon Age: Origins.

I appreciate your suggestions however, thank you for them, although, as Vivienne would say, "Your presentation needs work, my dear."

Now I have a question for anyone who can answer: how do I put spoiler tags in my post? I would like to use them for my polls for Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II so the first post doesn't take up too much space, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to use spoiler tags. I don't even see them as an option in the editor. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks!:)

spoiler tags are created by typing [ spoiler ] text to hide [ / spoiler ]

But without the spaces.

I voted in your polls but breaking them down as NRieh suggested is a good idea. (i.e human female = x%) so on and so forth  :)

For example, the romance option poll is meant to show the most popular romance option.

But you do realize that  Jozie and IB are kinda 4 options, and not just 2, right?  :)

Yeah. Working on an updated romance poll now, same for the combined race + gender poll. I'm updating the first post to include them right now!:)

I know, I couldn't make him take the lyrium again :(

& Yeah neither did I until recently. I just noticed yesterday (right before I completed Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts on my second playthrough) that you could blackmail all three of them into a truce. So I went with that one, as I couldn't decide who I was going to support, I supported all of them (and none of them, I guess, in a way).

I just added that poll in place of an old one to make it better (around thirty minutes ago) so you're just the first one to vote in that poll. Kneel before your better!

Haha :P

Truth be told I don't really see much point in polls asking which gender people play as. I remember when ME3 was new, there were polls on BSN asking if people played as Broshep or Femshep. I remember Femshep always won out on the poll, and some people were basically like "Girl power! Woot! Femshep ftw!" (I'm paraphrasing obviously).

But then actual statistics on the game were released, and it revealed 18% of the people who played chose Femshep.

So /shrug

Wasn't it also revealed that less than half of people who started a game actually finished? I'm guessing there were a lot of people who started male shepards and just didn't play the game all the way to completion. And then in a panel Bioware revealed that there were more people who romanced Leliana as a woman than people who played as a rogue in Origins.

Numbers are weird. And I don't think these polls say much of anything beyond what the population of BSN thinks. But then again, the people who are on BSN are probably Bioware's most hardcore fans, so the results are still very interesting.

I'm curious about a couple of the polls here - you have Brialla rules alone as an option for the Wicked Eyes a Wicked Hearts quest line. Is that really an option? An elf becomes empress? I've never heard that mentioned as a possibility anywhere else, but is extremely interesting if true.

Also in the "hardened Lilliana" question, you mention encouraging her to kill or spare the traitor early on and the sister later as the defining moments to hardening her character. I told her to spare them both, but she was still hardened so there must be other, less obvious, options which effect that outcome.

The results are probably not the most accurate, because I don't have any way of proving that people who are voting actually even made it that far in the game, because as long as they see the links they can vote. I can't do anything about that, sadly, but it's still interesting to see.

In an effort to make the results more accurate I only allow one vote from each IP address, so people can't cast multiple votes to influence the results in their favor. I hardly doubt this hurts the results, as their can only be so many people on the BSN who share the same household lol

But all that aside, I think it's still pretty interesting to look at the polls (regardless of how truthful people are in their poll choices).

Plus it's a fun way for everyone to talk about their decisions not only in this game but in previous Dragon Age Games as well (which will be added soon!) :)

It actually is an option. It is a very unusual one though, an elf ruling Orlais, can you imagine the uprisings that would take place among the humans? Lol but in all honesty it is an option. Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts has many different outcomes when referring to the ruler of Orlais.

As for the Leliana thing that is quite odd, I only remember that encouraging her to kill the traitors hardens her personality. You're sure you told her to spare the traitor at haven? That choice has the largest effect, but it also depends on what you tell her when you get to Skyhold. If you tell her your troops are expendable and that they know the Inquisition may require them to give their lives, that encourages a hardened personality, where as telling her that the lives of her agents do matter and are not to be so easily discarded encourages a softened personality. Do you know what you said to her regarding that situation? The conversation comes up when she blames herself for what happened at Haven.
