My Dragon Age game just got patched (Xbox One). The first thing I notice is a fat banner telling me about some MP weekend event. Any way to remove that crap from the start screen? I have zero interest in it, and it is just annoying.

Yep, you click on "new game", "load game", or "continue" and it will disappear.

I think it is part of the terms of service. So, when you've installed DA:I, you have also agreed to have whatever ads ea wants to rub in your face.

Some people seem to forget that you don't own these games. You own a license to play, they can put whatever they like in there. Maybe read the TOS before you check the accept box.
