I haven't messed around with these much, but I'd like to.

The only grenades I have are Jar of Bees (saved my butt several times on NM, definitely) and Antivan Fire (just got it). No tonics yet. know I had more my last game...but I never used them.

What ones do you guys like, which ones are most worth upgrading, etc etc?

I highly recommend the Pitch Grenade. It has a very fun effect and upgraded it kicks some serious but for mitigating damage and dealing more.

Can't think of all the names, but...

Antivian Fire is fun at first, when other AoE options aren't so widespread, and also later for the AoE Stun.

Pitch Grenade is out of control OP when combined with burst damage, like focus attacks.

Mind Control (?) grenade is fun but it's usually much faster to kill the enemy. Most useful on archers and mages.

Extra damage (?) tonic with crit upgrade turns Rogues into auto-attack machines of death.

Healing grenade, fully upgraded, is amazing. Give a character belt of grenades and they're now your portable health dispenser.

Mighty Offense Tonic and Bees.

Used this combination with Varric and Sera to take down bosses, Mercy Killing is essential though.

On my assassin i love the offence tonic especially the 100% crit damage boost.

I love the poison tonic. Saves me from wasting points in poison skills, and the DoT is no joke.

Jar O' Bees & Confusion Grenade. Love confusion. Wish I had another slot for them.

Healing mist acts as a quick ranged revive and aoe heal, when used on a tank like blackwall its almost unfair at how hard the enemy has to work to kill you.

Here's a good list! http://www.reddit.co...ontonicgrenade/

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I've grabbed all of them but Tears of the Dead (freaking Terror demons in the Fallow Mire!!! *shakes fist* I'll get you eventually!!!) and looking forward to playing with them.

Currently I'm using the following, but note I'm not that far in the game. (Just reached Skyhold pretty much, but have specialization unlocked)

PC, rogue archer Tempest: Jar 'O Bees, Tears of the Dead (most likely not going to spec into the tree with poison at all)
Cassandra: Rock Armor, Regeneration
Dorian: Regeration, Lyrium potion (intend to fully upgrade it this game, then it seems like a beast of potion)
Vivienne: Healing Mist, Jar 'O Bees

Vivienne gets the Healing mist, cause well, she doesn't die that much, or at all :P She also has Ressurgence so a little bit overkill maybe, but meh. Also intend to fully upgrade it so it can revive. Not going to spec revive on Dorian nor Vivienne, so it'll be nice to have.

Though I'll probably be way overleveled by that point
